I think he could've said rather than "we did have great summit and a lot of great progress was made" would've been to directly tell the host that: _"You made a compilation clip of 3 gaffs, when Biden did talk over 2 hours, it's hard for someone that old to be as coherent as he is and something that what you showed is to be expected, but he corrected himself. Would it be better if Biden was 20 years younger? I would rather have an experienced leader than someone who speaks well. I would really appreciate if the news media was a little bit more bipartisan like we have in Finland, so even small mistakes wouldn't turn into a giant circus based on the news narrative."_

He is also a swedish fin, as in born in Finland but talks swedish. we are a minority, but generally we speak cleander english than finnish fins. Swedish fins usually speak finnish, swedish and english rather smoothly.

@@wonkyelsa Swedish is similar to english in many regards whereas finnish is not similar at all. Also, the more languages you speak, the less of an accent you tend to have. Considering that the average swedish-speaking finn would speak 3 languages and a purely finnish speaking finn probably closer to 2, this could affect it aswell.

In US news it is more about ratings and entertainment, not about informing people. So there is channels for democrats and like Fox for republicans and they all go for the lowest hanging fruit. As you see CNN bashing Trump, you also see Fox bashing Biden. Both might have legit reasons for what they say, but they do add spice to it for sure. Which is what makes it more so entertainment. Like presidential race is kinda like a rooting for the networks boxing champion. Just what they do... aka money.

We here in Finland don't like him.. he was only voted in power because he had a good marketing campaign, so everybody who didn't follow politics voted for him. Every party wants to punch his teeth in, the right and the left wing, and the center most of all. But this is just comparing any Finnish politician to American politics. Finnish politics as a whole is more disciplined and polite than American politics. Both sides in America mock, diss and insult the members of the other party. In Finland that wouldn't fly. You can't be mean in office, because people simply won't like you if you are. In America it's the opposite... if an American politician insults ad hominem, their supporters will just be more into it.

And him having lived there in the 90s would not get you ready for it at all. He undoubtedly keeps up with U.S politics, but even then that doesn't compare with actually experiencing it first hand and you can sense a bit of that even in this interview.
