I think it’s really good that you push yourself out of your comfort zone to go to these things and to bring us along with you so often and it’s lovely to see how energised you are by them and how well you can articulate what has been said into layman’s terms for us that are not in the industry. It was refreshing to hear him speak, and for OFC to give him a platform and voice, it’s important that we connect with everyone, showing them what we do, but also listening to what people want and need from food and farming.

Fantastic video Joe. I can understand that you might have been a bit dubious about it not being your sort of thing but events like that are designed to bring people from similar but slightly different backgrounds together so they can "Network". Where everyone there can either just listen or (Talk and share ideas). In my working career I took every opportunity I could to "Network" It enabled me to advance my personal knowledge and skills and to help others along the way. There is an old saying Joe and believe me it is true: "It's not just what you know but who you know that counts" 😉👌👍.
