Thank you Jack for the inspiring words you spoke. Your speech is full of wisdom and love. Three weeks ago, we lost a brother- in- law to cancer. Our daughter has been fighting cancer for two years, receiving two different types of Chemo plus Immunotherapy. Last week, our eldest son spent a week in the hospital with COVID-19. Yesterday, 21 August 2021, that same son lost his father-in-law to COVID. He was only 64 years old. You're so right Jack, we have NO guarantee of another year, month, week or, another hour to experience the joys of hearing and sharing each other's presence. To love and to be loved. To share laughter, a favorite meal or adventure. Jack, I don't know your age but, you spoke with wisdom I feel, from your experiences with your father. May God Bless you, your bride and, your family and friends.

Your message is heart-wrenching and so inspiring. I have to remind myself every day (just turned 69) that we are never guaranteed life on earth beyond the moments we have now. Such a critical lesson. Your videos are absolutely my favorite over any on the internet, and I thank you for them. Don't stop....Love 'ya man! Keith

Thanks for sharing a special time with friends and family in a beautiful spot. We're planning to meet family from Texas in Pensacola in January. Ft Pickens looks like the perfect spot. And thanks for sharing about your Dad. I lost a dear friend to Parkinson's a couple months ago. So many things I want to share with him and then, I realize he's not here. Did the same when my Dad passed. For years, I'd see/ do something and think I gotta tell Dad...

Thank you for sharing this. Brought back some great memories from my childhood too. Used to spend a lot of time at Pickens, primarily at the first place in your video(black multi level building). Used to play in it all of the time when you could still access it and always enjoyed the little beach there behind the pavilion catching hermit crabs. Pickens overall is a special place indeed. Took my children there last year when home. First time I had been there in probably over 20 years. Most importantly, sorry to hear about your father. Prayers lifted!

Coming to this video a bit late, and I pray that your dad is ok, or if not, that his Home Going was a peaceful one. I had the sacred honor of being with both of my parents as they passed, and it changed my life forever in ways that I can't even explain. You are a wise young man. At 61, I know how precious the days are getting. At my age, I have taken on new passions, and my life has even more purpose than before. Thank you Jack. I know you don't know me from Adam, but I have been enjoying your content since I learned what W-D 40 was really for. :-) If it brings you joy, keep 'em coming. You and Samantha be blessed!!

I have a genetic disorder that only got diagnosed when I turned 49. Was told I'd die at 50. Have had 2 intense brain surgeries since then. Just turned sassy 60🙌🏾🥰yeah, yeah😁. I was a workaholic, super active, dancing, swimming, walking, biking and reading. Until Covid, I had to alter every single move, but I was still dancing and swimming. Need a Recumbent Trike to ride and a rollator to walk, but still at it when I can. Been married to love of my life Sean for 32 years now. We go camping as often as possible now. In fact, your vids were what I checked out when we were ready to get a trailer. It's hard for my adult children and grandchildren to deal with the idea that Grammy is disabled. Especially because what I have is hereditary. Like you said, making memories, that's the key!! Great vid!! Stay encouraged!! I had to tell my mom it wasn't time to go "home" for years...she needed to tell her "grands" her stories, teach them her songs. She died in April 2019 five days after my father. So now it's my turn to tell the "grands" the stories and teach them my songs. I'm going to keep on camping, making memories, as long as I can.
