THEORY OF THE SONG MEANING This song is a twisted story of a little boy actually, I figured the little "girl" is a boy because girls can't be drag queens and in the live shows the intro would say "Peter and the wolf" (and wolf referring to the pedophile). So it's starts off with "evil knocking at my door, evil making me it's whore" obviously it's talking about the pedophile abusing the little boy. Then the " hey there little girl"part is where it gets really sick and sad because the little boy says "....you are the knight that saves my day" and the pedo replays with ".... Don't be afraid I'll keep you safe", it shows how the pedophile has manipulated the little boy into thinking he is a "knight" a "savior", so the boy has only him as inspiration only him to look up too. So the boy follows in his "knights" footsteps. You can see he does this when the song says " I'm evil knocking at your door, I'm evil making you my whore". The little boy has grown up to become a pedophile himself. Then the most sad part happeneds the little boy says " HEY WHERE YOU GOIN', I WASNT THROUGH IM GOIN HAVE MY WAY WITH YOU" this means he's done it he's officially followed in his footsteps and mollested another kid. Then the original pedophile says " I am like decay, I rot the ground that guides your way" he's saying that he's done well on teaching him how to learn his ways then the kid says " do you like me now? Did I succeed and make you proud?" This is the boy saying are you proud of me? Have I done well?.. And then it ends. It's a sad twisted story

I do agree this song is about rape. But I don't agree they mean it in a bad way. Yes it's disturbing but I feel that's on purpose. I think the band is explaining the temptations of evil. Especially for people who are innocent like the little girl in the song. She gets drawn in because this evil man tells her she will get everything she wants but she is too young to understand how it's wrong. Rape unfortunately is one of the worst kinds of evil because it messes someone up for life and takes a very long time to get over. That's what I feel this song is addressing

@@popsicko6493 That's the thing. Some people murder for a reason, for example if someone had his entire family murdered and then he avenges them, I'm not saying it's preferable to working through the law but you can understand it. Sure, it's a highly specific case, but it's there. But nobody ever rapes for a reason. It's nothing but a dark, evil desire that cares not for the harm it causes.

I think it’s about exploitation. And the thing is - music is like movies. It captures aspects of human behaviour but doesn’t mean the artist supports it or condones it. A horror movie Director is not some serial killer himself or herself

Oh, my God, there _needs_ to be a music video to this song!! It's too brilliant for it to be crazy not to have one! It can take place in a hotel that looks like the one from _The Shining_ with Taylor looking scared & paranoid as the 'evil' Ben knocks at the door, trying to reach her. When Ben's part comes up, he seduces her by caressing her face and stroking/braiding her hair, and Taylor, gazing, slowly enters his room. Probable making-out ensues. And by then, Taylor has become one with him, and the two embrace when the song ends. Plus, during the "I don't mind..." parts, I can imagine Taylor being pulled by two, black inky arms that are emerging from walls from each side. That, or having her sway her head in her hands back and forth.
