If it wasn't a good excuse for United - a team everyone knows has been bad for a long time - to have injuries last season, why is it suddenly an excuse for City, who are meant to be one of the best in the world? Also, Sam, you might want to dismiss the comments about 115 charges as "childish", but to claim that financial doping would be irrelevant to City's success is just bizarre.

If losing one player to injury can turn this supposedly great team into trash, and you excuse it to injury then surely you accept that 70+ injuries prevented Man U from winning the league? Right? Thought not. The one game they actually had something close to their starting 11 they beat city in the FA cup. You can’t say injuries didn’t affect a Man U team that came third the season prior, and then say that City are only bad because of injuries. Any time that turd Sam Lee spends the entire podcast biting his nails you know he speaking out of his ass

There is too much Ten hag bashing. All managers have strengths and weaknesses. Ultimately the biggest reason is that He was a dead man walking from the moment he walked in like managers before him because he was not supported by drive and structure of the club and undermined by dysfunctionality. What other manager would have succeeded with that at that time. He was a dead man walking a second time because he was not Ineos’s man at the start and was not backed in the January transfer window when we needed players to cope with injuries. We were not even willing to keep Reguillon because of money. The amount spent on players is also a red herring. We have not spent or sold wisely for years. In that context what he achieved in that first year, inheriting our worst ever team and situation, was not “very good “ as most people say, it was miraculous. Ultimately he had to go, but this ongoing ten hag bashing is cheap

Every club has periods where the injury list is riduclous & affects the team but they get through them. Pep is the most influential manager in the 21st century but their will always be a astrik next to his name due to managing clubs who have budgets that dwarf most clubs. Their is no denying he improves players... But take away the finanical grunt he's had at these clubs & he would be a fairly average manager.

The only goalscorers at the club are Haaland, Foden, KDB and Gundogan. The latter is having to play deeper and the middle 2 have been out with injuries and not looked remotely fit when they have played. Outside of that, a squad which is too small with too many older players has had too many injuries and there has been a monumental failure by the club to have plans for the 6 position given the mountain of minutes Rodri has played over the years and the importance of that position. There's also likely been an inevitable relaxation of motivation after a historic 4th title in a row. The squad needs another rebuild in the summer, but it must start in January with another number 6.
