It''s become my favorite game over the years because of so many contestants who are befuddled by its objective..I even remember a playing back around 1991 when a contestant correctly identified the rules and Bob looked skyward and said something to the tune of, "We are in the presence of a miracle...In the 19 years I've been doing this show, this young man is the first contestant who understands Check Game" He then proved himself by winning the game.

I don't know why contestants, when offered a chance to win the really expensive prizes, act as though they already won them! They'll jump and scream and run around the stage, only to lose the pricing game associated with the prize.
