These people have the best clothing style in history! What a great show and fun times! Every kid loved when they could stay home from school and watch the famous show, The Price is Right. No other show was as fun as this when it came to playing at home. It was so much fun guessing the prices.

I was only 3 years old when this particular show aired. I don't remember the show at all up until about 6 years old (1976). I was born July 1970. The show was the best in the mid 1980's to early 90's. I really miss Bob Barker doing the show. Drew sucks. Why would they ever replace Bob with Drew, of all people? At least the stage looks similar to the old days.

@thepinkyprincesspoet I turned 12 just 4 months after this was taped. The studio audience never hears any of that music in the background, they only hear the buzzers or bells if they win/lose. The tapings of the shows are quite different than what airs, but it's still loud with a lot of energy....even today in 2024!

relative cost of products then is just mind-blowing. an brand new car for less than 3 grand... or a bottle of root beer for less than a quarter. also that video quality is insane haha. nice work.

Yeah they advertised the 1970 Maverick for 1995! Hadnt seen Hires for a lonnnnnnnng time! Do they still make it?? Thatd be amaaaazing if they do !

Bosco chocolate soda still existed back then, too... About eight or nine years ago, I found a 7-11 in Brooklyn that still offered it as part of their fountain service. Don't know if they still do...

When did they stop getting specific about product descriptions? Here we get the brand names, the slogan and everything. But these days it's just "A jar of sauce".

Just to answer your question three years later, some products are sponsored and others are just something they picked up at the store. They still do this today where the sponsored product will have the name and features announced whereas other products shown will get a generic description.
