@Catloudan Well, of course, that depends on the actual date of taping which I have no idea what it was, nor if there's a way to look it up. Regardless though, you are correct that it would have been a fresh wound. Unless of course, it was taped prior to her death, that is. And I'm sure they stopped for a little while at least, to let Bob deal with whatever funeral and burial arrangements there would have been. As the husband and father of widows, I'm well aware that's something one doesn't ever get over.

I was the guy who had the bicycle accident (Gregory). I was 18 back then, I'm 61 now. How time flies; I still have the mantel clock (but most of the parts have been replaced over the years)! The guy in the wheelchair had something fall on his right brake which made the chair turn really fast right into my line of travel (and that's how I hit him). When you're 18 and suddenly called to be on a game show you just wing it; it's a miracle I could even form sentences, let alone explain what happened!

On the A& E biography of Bob Barker, he stated that " Dian was the one Who started our romance, She chased after Me, & I Did Not force her into Anything, & the Fact that She dropped her lawsuit Against me speaks Volumes, & I Know I Never "forced " anything on her". I believe him, because on several TPIR shows, you could plainly see Dian flirting with him, & Even Janice & Holly said that from the minute his wife passed, " Dian went after him like gangbusters!". Although I liked Dian, I Totally believe Bob's account of their brief fling.
