They have to. Its not just Price is Right. Other shows are moving out as well. Construction is starting soon and you cant exactly be filming TV shows with construction happening on the other side of the wall.

My understanding is that they will return after the renovations are done. Sounded like this might be only a one season move. I seriously hope they go back to full audience. Everyone else has.

The contestants "performance" is definitely exaggerated to the point I find it obnoxious. I can't tolerate it. Drew with no tie and wearing sneaker looking footwear is horrible as is that of the contestants. This show is a shadow of what it used to be.

This is way folks ever since Bob left I dont watch the show anymore. I just reminisce about the Barker era. Drew looks like a complete idiot, the show now looks like it belongs in a traveling carnival event and to leave this historical stage is just beyond words. Shame on the current producers. They never liked Bob anyways.

@@wturner777 It's so odd they did that, its so iconic and associated with CBS. NBC network did the same thing years ago with the old Burbank studio that Carson and Leno occupied. Apparently it somehow makes more economic sense as a major network to not own at least one of your own studios you built 50+ years ago and have already paid for. Instead just rent studio space from other companies that own studio space. I bet it's some stupid liability thing lawyers came up with to shield the Network. I remember visiting the Burbank studio and seeing the history painted on the walls like you saw with the Carol Burnett Show here, they had the same thing for Carson at Burbank. I suspect it's all painted over now.

When Drew took over in 07, he was warned not to make a lot of changes right away, to gradually make changes. Moving to this new location I think will give him more of the feel of it being HIS show. So we COULD start seeing significant changes over time and not just the location/ set.
