It gets distracting. And we wonder why we feel weak and drained but it is because we are not taking refuge under the wings of our creator. He will strengthen us. He will sustain us. Him alone. Not this world but God. I want to live in the overflow

In order for God to increase in us, we have to decease in the flesh. Decreasing from fleshly desires and actions leaves room for spiritual purpose and action. Pride decreases a measurement of God in one's life, while humility increases God’s measurement in ones life. Selfishness leaves room for self, and selflessness leaves room for God.
