That shortbed Dodge pickup would have been somewhat desirable before they messed it up. Probably $500-$1000 just for the box on it. One like it turned up in a local yard here a couple years ago and they picked it clean. Like, it had some heavy duty bed deal on it and they sold the whole back half of the truck, it was cut right in half the third time I saw it. The only one that i've seen so far that hurts is that '56 Lincoln, although that orange and white GMC and the Mustang all could do better than just scrap on. Like you said, he needs to advertise.

Cowboy, what these yards need to do is call a mobile tire shredding machine with operator. Have them come in, shred up all these excess tires, and send them off for recycling. Some of the larger varieties can shred several thousand tires an hour. They'd clean up most small tire heaps pretty quickly! Get the message out, there exist ways to deal with these tires, call 'em and get quotes for tire disposal. They can then reclaim back the yard space the tires are occupying, that'll be good for 'em!

I've watched another channel where they make a serious effort to remove wiring harnesses. I can understand the value of the copper but apparently, not removing the copper makes the steel in the scrap vehicle less valuable so wiring removal is a two-fer. Here, either the wiring removal isn't shown or it's just not done. Just wondering about the different approaches to getting the most money for the scrap.

Chrysler Sebring (crushed on screen) sitting on the side. Dodge D Series (crushed on screen), old Ram, getting prepped to be crushed. Chevrolet Impala, pre flattened on crusher. Remnants of a Nissan Armada (crushed on screen) getting prepped to be crushed. Chevrolet Monte Carlo getting prepped to be crushed. Pontiac Montana getting tossed into the crusher. Chevrolet OBS truck on the rack. 5 cars crushed on screen, a sixth pulled up but not seen crushed. So, tally is up by 5. 2,692 cars crushed.

We have had no tyre policy in UK for a few year's now even with rims in and he's it caused massive fly tipping problem so I used to remove all tyres from rim time went in heavy iron any good three where all to pay for disposal of the rest I have a mate who shreds them for steel content and rubber crumb. what would a chassis from the red pickup duely with running year fetch no engine or trans or biscuits that sort of lengthy I will be looking for

Howdy Howdy 2, hiya cowboy, coming from a rather cool, 8c coast in North Essex England, So, just a comment, I notice the vehicle scrapyards we see on your channel are all on the ground, earth. soil, whatever. Here In the UK that was banned so everyone scrapping, and salvaging vehicles has strict rules on "END OF LIFE VEHICLES", like you no fluids can be allowed to hit the floors even though they are concrete.. For even wilder applications look on youtube at the way the Japanese scrap vehicles, it's so clean...LOL.. Anyway, we love our Cowboy out in the dirt doing what he does to make that $$ eh.. @@ralphday4842 Yes I have been to Merica for a few weeks, the funniest was in a burger place we ordered a burger and chips, got strange looks but was served a burger and "Crisps" and WTF is them tasteless round cake looking things - lol. But we had fun, drove on Daytona Beach, did half a lap around Daytona Raceway on a tour bus, done NASA both coasts, got confused in a rural "garage" as I could not make the pumps work and got cussed at by two old blue rinse ladies for being damned tourists - LOL Did enjoy our stay though, sadly my 50th birthday meal was in the long gone RaceRock cafe, got served burnt meat and rough fries, but hey we dont eat runny blood meat, was fun though.. Would I visit again ? hell yes even though I`m 75 now.. Another funny thing was I filled the hire car with the cheapest petrol OK GAS they offered, it drove like a donkey after, but not my car eh..LOVED being on holiday OK Vacation Im Merica really did.. the following year we holidayed In Jamaica, they drove on the propper side of the road but yes was very hot..I retired from working far too hard at 55 and retired 30 metres from the beach 19 years ago.. The sound of waves on the beach is good enough for me now.. Be happy mate..Ian.B.
