Extraordinary awesome musicianship, clean precise accurate, great harmonies and lead vocals. The Price Sisters always make my day! The first and second cd’s are very well produced with the greatest of sound and the best and right selection of songs. Rebel Records is a real good established label. Management knows what they are doing all the time. Bobby Jr. is super good on the bass fiddle and very humble about all of it. I can never say enough good things about The Price Sisters They are my favourite Bluegrass Band. I look forward to the purchase of the upcoming new cd! Good day God Bless The Price Sisters

That was a great thing that Ronnie McCoury and his wife did to start their music "academy" program to help foster new Bluegrass musical talent. These ladies and their band make some fine traditional Bluegrass music.

Songs from the True Vine as my Grandma Ganny Picle used to call it....and not a Berklee College of Music grad in sight (not that there's anything wrong with that ~Seinfeld). This is the music I grew up seeing at festivals in North Florida, Southwest Georgia, and Southeast Alabama. As real as a 1936 Coca-Cola!! Or RC...depending on your preference and familial ties ;)

I totally get you. Their sound is absent of what is very popular these days. Sounds like someone who came out of the mountains. Proof that there’s still room for regular folks to find an audience. I kinda wish every record coming out of Nashville didn’t have to have the obligatory guest artist. I know there’s an argument for why not, if you can have so and so on the record why wouldn’t you and to that I’d reply because you don’t need them. All their guest are phenomenal but these new groups need to cut their own path.
@fretfix12 жыл бұрын
@@ibassnote Hard to argue that these folks need any extra hands on deck. There are certain people it would be hard to turn down, especially if they are going to help with the recording process. Del and Ronnie, as well as Peter Rowan would be hard to turn down. But I totally feel you on that. Their band is hotter than a Nebraska brush fire, and conjuring up memories of the Louvin Brothers with those harmonies...It's like pouring Karo syrup into my ears.
@ibassnote2 жыл бұрын
@@fretfix1 who wouldn’t want to shine any of their shoes! I would! Actually Del stands out as a very good match. I think I’ve met them all, every single one of them is a gentleman. I’m not really making a negative comment, more of a compliment regarding their pure sound.

Conner Vlietstra (guitar) Trevor Holder (banjo) Bobby Osborne Jr (bass) We are so proud to have these guys in our band. Excellent musicians, all!! Regret we didn’t get to introduce them on camera, we only had about 15 minutes in the tiny little room with the AC shut off to record on a 90 degree day - glad we could do it of course - but we were just thinking about the music in the moment :)

I’m sure the music is lovely but it’s important you know you both have no airport etiquette. I think you can do better. Don’t budge in line, and give people a chance to get in their seats… you aren’t the only people trying to get on the plane…
