Real talk, at 2:44:31 when Alkanist equipped Sayu with guilded for 0 cost. Is there really a specific reason why golden house was used to reduce the cost of guilded even though timaeus already had 3 counters? Even Lia brought that up and she was not wrong with what happened. I thought this is a big deal because that error prevented Alkanist from saving an extra die, which could make a huge difference in a match.

It's considered a mechanic, the explanation is Timaeus and Wagner DON'T REDUCE the cost but rather it REPLACE the cost after the reduction and the cost calculation has been finalized, Timaeus and Wagner will replace that final cost derived

Btw if Alkanist really wanted to use all Timaeus' 3 stacks, he could have not used Golden House to reduce Guilded Cost, there was this topic in chat replay too, u can check it out!

@@aqua4652 Unfortunately, I've read your commment a few times and still didn't understand the logic behind it. I'll just be on the lookout for that situation in the future duels since that's a legit game mechanic. Thanks for the explanation though!

​@@aqua4652Dang, I just looked at chat and if what was said is true, then it makes sense what happened. However, I don't like the fact that golden house always takes priority, especially when timaeus was activated beforehand. Owell, I gotta adapt to it then. Thanks for the help once again!
