The fact that every voice actor could play their roles in person really is something..the could really look like their character

Lol, now saying Jenifer Lewis looks like Mama Odie is a stretch now 😅 she could definitely play her character as taller in live action

WOW I JUST discovered who Moms Mabley was 1 or 2 days ago because of a video that comedy hype news did on SNL's "missing black woman." Somewhere down the line a reference to Mabley was made and down the rabbit hole I went! Now this is a crazy coincidence that I came across this video. And here it is like 10 years after the movie, now i can fully appreciate mama Odie because of that connection! Now that I think of it, she definitely sounded like Moms Mabley!

This may have been a fun film but let's not forget that there was incredibly dark subject matter masked under this animated feature which involved Haitian Voodoo and the practice of Black Magic.
@desireprometheus15354 жыл бұрын
It didn’t. First of all, it involved American Voodoo...absolutely nothing to do with Haiti....and calling it black magic is stereotypical and a form of religious/racial oppression perpetuated by white Christian colonizers. Do your research bro; you sound stupid and derivative.

American voodoo isnt a big deal man. Its super chill really. Met a voodoo vender is new orlean. Super cool dude.

So what? Lol there are literally thousands of traditional children’s stories based in dark subject matter?! This is typical throughout juvenile literature.
