The Question was asked: Why can't we make good TV anymore. I say how did we go from Lew Grade to low grade? Many reasons. Early TV had little money put into it but by the 1960s many TV shows had production values and scripts as good as movies. The film industry answered by changing the movie codes allowing more sex and violence to compete with TV.. This lowered the bar.. Then came cable that diluted the writing talent over 60 channels.. Then came reality TV and mean snarky sit coms .. The final nail in the TV coffin was politics. We have people creating movies and TV that are not real show people.. Like Sony pictures (radio TV makers) And ABC Disney now focused on Prioritizing ethnic, gay and feminism over scripts.. Meaning they contrive stories only to show case those topics.. Hard to come up with new original ideas when your priority is feminism ,homosexuality and indicting the white race for everything... Facts are not hate truth is not racist

What an idiotic comment

This was a great little episode. The comments at the very end were a bonus (an author suggested that the only feasible way to meaningfully disrupt organized crime is (1) reducing inequality and (2) reducing prohibition. It’s the sort of thesis that McGoohan would have found intriguing, IMHO.

That's what author of The History Of Organised Crime, David Southwell, told me too

I know McGoohan is Irish American but he sounds Welsh in some interviews almost like Richard Burton.
