Working in a resto kitchen is extremely hard. Not being able to sit for 10 hours is the norm, skipping a meal is really nothing. This is the reason why kitchen staff always eat at odd hours (before lunch rush ~10.00 am and before dinner rush ~3.00 pm). If you already complain on the first day, maybe the job isn't for you.

I am a manager of a restaurant and he didnt plan the opening that well at all. Like middle of lunch and they were already out of ingredients almost the whole menu and the kitchen didnt mention it before it ran out. Bad training and communication. Plus the owner needs to appreciate his staff more and make sure they eat even just one full meal and he shouldve helped prep more food meanwhile

I can relate to this while i was working on the register, the restaurant is packed especially on Ramadan around the break iftar. The line would be out the door and the communication between the register and kitchen is ruined
