I didn't think of that. The rats would be nuts with no sound waves, but the rat always gets it's cheese... Seriously though I want a no sound wave mode. That would be great. The waves take a lot away from the immersion.

I feel like, the soundwaves are the reason why players (especially the pros) are so confident Because the soundwaves indicate clearly where the enemy is, leading to a fast paced codm/pubgm style fight. I believe if you remove them it will result in a more tactical form of play

If you want to play without sound indicators you can wait for the pc version. Sound indicators are always delayed, as shown in the tutorials that way you can't just rely on them to give you the enemy's exact location everytime

From all the comments I’ve read. All the ones that want to keep soundwaves are 1. Can’t afford low- mid earplugs but can afford phone that cost 10-50 times the price?I can afford a 5-10 dollar plugs that works without any complaints. Very lame excuses. 2. Literal Skill issues. Have you seen how rats play? 😂 literally sitting in ine corner waiting for sound waves to pop up on their screen. Look at other ab infinite, other games without sound waves and how people play. look at how they play with sound prints. It’s not rocket science guys. Just observe. It’s night and day. Thats the truth. PUBG is a much much older game than AB yet their audio quality is pin point. I don’t see anyone yapping to bring in footprints in pubgm? I don’t hear anyone complaining about having no head sets. If you’ve played pubgm you know you need hearings to determine left and right sounds. It’s that simple. If you want a game to play without headset, go play candy crush. I’d love to see sound waves on Cod, Battlefield, PUBG, valorant, csgo and see how they would react 😂 Absurd if you ask me.

In the end, mobile and PC players mentality are significantly different, casual vs hardcore. A more hardcore mode without sound indicators could be a solid solution instead of just removing it all together. It gives the players a choice depending on what mood of gaming they wanna play

i think they’re dumb. it’s not a thing in any other game except for fortnite. I want to be able to run around and not be worried that someone in a tree from 100 meters away with gs2’s knows exactly where i am bc of it. Tactics like “flanking” or just evasive movements in this game in general aren’t nearly as effective nor efficient bc of soundsways. There a reason arena breakout infinite gameplay looks to play better and it’s not bc of the graphics… but one thing i do appreciate is that it puts rats more at risk, but the also promotes ratting on the flip side. Sure you can hear them if they make one move. But that’s just makes them want to not make a move at all… which is ratting. And ofc it makes it easier for them to detect you

the exact reason people rat is because of soundwaves. Why bother moving when get revealed anyway. just take everything slow and keep the enemy guessing. but thats what makes the game infuriating to play around too.

What I think is to balance everything up is to create another version of Normal Match, Lockdown and Forbidden Zone without sound prints but keep the grenade indicator maybe. And add a little darkness in the game, its so bright, I think having a dark spots around the map are a great idea and add a Flashlight (cheaper) not the blinding one to Illuminate the area.

I think they should be removed from forbidden mode, weakened in lockdown mode, and kept normal in tactical mode. I'm one of those people that doesn't really like it despite not really have good headphones. It's like if you accidentally move too fast the enemy knows exactly where you are.

That falls down to a multiple factor of gun accuracy, your stance, eg standing v kneeling, bullet type, distance, etc etc. not to mention the biggest factor of the server and internet connection between all the players.

I have my take on this... Was thinking about the new gamemode like a month ago... What I would do for that gamemode would be separated stash, no p2w (buying koen), and adding wipes just for that 1 gamemode, it wouldnt even be a gamemode I would make it a part of the game where you can click a button and it teleports you into "a different acc" what would be the hardcore one, also was thinking about those soundprints and it would stay the same in the normal part of the game but in hardcore it could be removed entirely... The whole point of this "new part of the game" is to make both sides happy, so the more hardcore players will get immersive gaming with all the hard attributes and the casuals or people without good headphones or phones will get everything thats in the game rn

My opinion is i dont want to take it away since this is mobile game where people can play whatever they want where they want and most mobile player are mostly not rich they dont have good headphone or didnt have headphone so if they remove sound indicator the game will be unfair and unbalanced where headphone player have huge advantage against player that didnt have headphone and you cant say “just buy a headphones” bro a good headphone at least 20$+ and with that amount of you money you can feed a whole family in some countries and they dont want to spent money on headphone just to play the game

I think that they would lose much more playerbase by removing them than to keep them, the game has players that are very scummy the way it is already by having rats, loot goblins and others so by appealing to those who play more on the hardcore side they would mostly benefit scum players, and comparing a mobile game to pc games is not something that should be done as it is a completely different environment, everyone that has a gaming pc games but not everyone with a good phone games, it is a more casual sided market or at least that is how i see it

I use earphones although its not as comfortable, it works. Yes you can hear surrounding step, mine was so freaking cheap and its support. I just buy bunch of cheap earphones that cost less than 10$ + shipping fee and still good. Tbh im being generous by saying its 10$+ because in my currency you can get 4 cheap working earphones or 1 good earphones. Its fair, the living cost and salary ratio. Of course my earphones has no brand, but it works. I have looked at some headphones and yes headphones is expensive. Earphones cheap!!!

I'm totally against sound waves, I wish they remove them or make a separate server where they don't exist. I understand why they probably added them so people could play casually anywhere without wearing any headphones. That's my guess. I also think the sound engine needs little rework. Some sounds are overtly exaggerated. What do you think about this? Maybe you could make another video about it.

Also, finding a team that can actually use the ingame speech 💬 and form a unit rather than a divided group. P.s just imagine playing ▶️ and watching your team with hand gestures.... Positioned cover over cover and forced the enemy to engage the killing zone - cross fire and flanking is teamwork. 🎉
