And the worst part is, only buyers will get these game-breaking augments. Augments should be fun to use and give you a slight advantage, e.g RRE, adaptive reload, vampire nanobots, etc. But augments like faust, hyperspeed, pulsar can be the difference between a winning and losing game. That's my problem with augments.

Couldn't agree more. I also see another problem, which is that most people (some justifiably, others just outrageously) don't care about winning or losing games; just completing their missions and getting top scores is fine, especially in the Matchmaking pool. And, unfortunately, custom battles are a farcry in terms of popularity from what they used to be and the devs haven't really done anything to promote them until very recently with just a few changes, and it's not enough anyway. Winning games in MM is of little to no interest to those players who are out of place in most of their matches, that is, underranked for the most part or just incapable of keeping up with the enemy team, and as a consequence, they either contribute very little to their team's success or (rather unwillingly, but unless they voluntarily quit the match, also inevitably) contribute a great deal to their team's loss by being a passive player: not being able to kill anyone before they get killed, not having maxed out gear or sufficiently upgraded for the match, not knowing how to move through the map and/alongside their teammates, etc.

Augments were originally added to change the function of a turret by a bit, which adds a new playstyle to the turret, while keeping it balanced. That’s why they were called alterations, as in “alternate versions” nowadays it’s just extra buff on turrets that you must be lucky to have

Tanki needs to make everything affordable from augments to skins spending all that time and money on a skin and getting nothing from the player base cuz it's darn too expensive

You don't need to spend to be good at the game, skins are an accessory and should be behind paywalls and extreme luck. If you actually play every day and do your missions you will eventually get all epic container items and get good legendary augments from containers and events if you save crystals/tank coins.

Bored players leave. Players who left don’t spend any money. And thats how a F2P game dies. The new player experience is absolutely dreadfull as well (primarily due to matchmaking and differences in GS. And thats assuming they get through the bot matches). So there’s not a lot of new players to replace those that leave. The game’s lifespan as it currently stands is limited. And the developers known it.

Augments should've never been added to the game, or they could've just made it unlockable in some way and balanced (which is so hard for Tanki), or they should just stop adding OP augments. I miss crystal augments :(

They could make it so u can get powerful augs as u level up but then it's will slowly become purchasable with tankoins so i dont trust them with this

Also tanki has a real problem when it comes to spreading these augments across turrets. Striker, scorpion and thunder have about 5 - 6 each whereas firebird and twins have 0 or 1. Clear favouritsm for some turrets, making others forgettable

Tell me then which augment you would add to Firebird. The way it reloads and deals damage is very straightforward, there is a reason there aren't many unique augments for short-range turrets. This comment makes no sense. 5-6 augments? Like good ones or overall?

@@tomo_385 1. One large power burst of fire, damagea multiple enemies and faster reload 2. Make critical shots more damaging in return for less often 3. Forever burn: enemies are lit on fire and wont cool down unless the time goes down, repair kit wont get rid of the effect. In exchange for less damage

@@mustafaalim64 But you can damage multiple enemies with normal fire thats just how it works. I got your idea but the way firebird works is basically what you are describing in first idea. Firebird reload only for 1 sec, it can hit multiple targets and have good dmg to not be broken nor weak. your second idea is simillar to incendiary mix , which give + 20 % dmg and critical dmg. Doing anything simillar (+ 50 % critical dmg but less often is just nonsense) because armadillo users would only laugh at you and other than that your firebird is normal. How about drawbacks? forever burn, either I did not get you or this agument is already in game in form of compact fuel tanks but idea of repair kit not helping you is terrible idea because it opens door for developers to produce more of this I would say stupid exception augments where repair kit wont work and it will be like pulsars... tbh If someone tried to kill me with this cheap method I would rather press delete than be killed that way. As tomo385 said there are not so many options for meele range turrets and thats a reason not having so much exotic augments

Second one makes 0 sense as firebird already has alternate damage dealing being burn damage, why change crit damage when it would hardly effect overall dps. 3rd one is the worst by far, completely breaks game rules, repair kit stops all status effects active on your tank, why make an augment which ignores this, this isn’t old Tanki. Keep trying and then suggest it to the developers.

Tbh the crisis neef us really bad, a exotic drone has no benefit over the others, i get that they wanted to nerf the damage but making it equal too boosyer was a huge mistake.

The only way to get good augments is by containers, and with f2p players having way less rewards, it’s so much harder to do improve.

For most weapons I have at least one rlly good aug. And whats missing, I will get in the future. I never bought aug since 3 years I just get them

@@void_chrissiii I started not too long ago and I have literally 1 legendary augment on hammer and one on twins. Everything else I either have 1 crystal augment or none. I also only have a few turrets upgraded so half the augments I’ve gotten have literally no use for now e.g. my twins augment. I’m just waiting to get a good augment so I can invest in that turret and not have regrets.

@@Dizperze that is a good description of the game. This was also my principle and with some time u find yourself having good aug for every turrets and hulls. I startet with my main 2015 and with alt acc not too long ago so I know both starts and nowadays it is far easier then before 2020. For F2P is recommenended to use 1 or 2 combos upgraded them and I chose them buy the aug I got (from containers)

There are too many game breaking augs that just ruin matches. It is common to have a tool floating around with Vulcan with unending fire, ending the match with 60kills with 3 deaths. At the same time they do nothing to help old school turrets like railgun that have been rendered useless. Tanki has totally F'd the game.

nah bro long range turrets are just most beneficial if you dont have OP augment or full equip... just try shaft or scoprion ... most of the maps are pretty big and you can perform well. Trying to play with firebird when you dont have drone or protections is just suicide, you will get killed before you reach enemy. Its either you have a good augment (or equip) so you will be able to kill before enemy kills you or you just have to camp, because thats the only strategy that is working, if you cant kill anyone 1v1 you have to adapt and kill them before they can attack you which is camping.

As a mobile player, I hate that I can t see what augments, protections enemy have, i must die a few times to figure it out. If I want to change my turret, so often I pick one with same protections on enemy team. I don t want tanki to change grafics to mobile, it look good compare to pc(my opinion) , controls are really ok, but I want to have chat, pro battle, to see augments and protections on score board! + i hate when some player soot me and I m fliying to God, wtf, if a railgun shoot me on front my hunter turn off, mobile players vs pc players isn t close 🥲
