I like how fisch has a lot of strategy once you progress, like some fish have a higher chance of appearing with different weather different time or even the season and how a lot of rods are only good for specific aspects of the game and how baits increase the chances for only specific fisch instead of just rolling.

I got sick one week when I had just discovered fisch, and it kept me entertained without taking much brainpower. It was the PERFECT game for me when I was exhausted and just wanted to chill. It's a really nice feeling to lay down in bed and play a slow paced game like that. However on a normal day, I don't really play it.

I know a lot of people don't like Eclipse for his views and people might see this and think he's just hating. it's just like Lumber Tycoon 2. It's a chill game that is simple enough for kids to play and has competition for everyone to continue playing and be better. Because for younger audiences a game that progress by your own skills (reaction, calculating,..etc...) or anything that related to themselves is hard for them to understand and appreciated. But a game that progress by Rare items or such is way easier for them to feel proud of, to feel that they've made progress and that they're getting better at the game.

⁠I don't think there is much in life that is truly objective. If you think about it, all games have their strengths and weaknesses, their limitations if you will. There is no one great game that is better than all the rest who can completely take up all your time and be fun 24/7. That's why so many different types of games exist, if it isn't your style, you can find something else. I understand that some games have more effort, more detail, maybe even more depth put into them, but that can't go on forever and sometimes you like to turn your brain off and chill. Fisch has found its place in the gaming landscape and it seems people really enjoy it and I'm all for that. At the end of the day games are just here so we can have some fun, that's really all that matters, it doesn't need to be anything more than it is.
