I've really changed my opinion on casual sex and hook up culture over the years, and this is my opinion and thoughts on this topic. From thinking it was something empowering to realising the extent the damage can run has been a real wake up call.

Gia, you are sooooo smart. We brainwash ourselves to think that being used is "being cool". And we tell ourselves stories about how we are "supposed to be" in this society. We tell ourselves we are asking for too much if we want care and kindness and romance and honesty and a little time with the person we are taking off our clothes with. Conquest is amusing and seems like a good thing in a "stories we tell ourselves" sort of way. But..... it's empty.

It’s great that you learned those lessons now. Many don’t learn until in their 30s (some never do, what?).

You are thinking a lot more about what you want and need before doing stuff than I do, makes me realise I should think more.

Guys don't 'sleep around', this is another myth the womanists tell each other because they keep chosing the same men that are bad for them. Then go on and claim all men are the same. Yet no one asked them selves the important question "who told you to sleep with all men". You are in control of your own body and mind, don't let anyone else mess that up because of selfish foolish reasons. Think for your self, don't listen to single grumpy fools that can't get a date or keep failing at love. You just end up destroying yourself because of a 'false gods' syndrome. Anyone that is on social media hating on others isn't worth your time, men have been saying this for decades now. Yet women refuse to listen as they think with emotions and not with common sense or logic. Self harm comes in many variations, including getting tattoo's, sleeping with people to have a sense of control, screaming and causing drama, following the wrong people to feel loved and many others. And guess what group promotes such things? Womanism. Casual sex between two people that actually are in love, no problem. Casual sex between 2 strangers will cause a big problem for both men as women, but specially for women as they are wired to follow emotions. Women do them selves a lot of harm by acting this way, even if they wish to believe this isn't the case. 'Feeling' you are doing the right thing doesn't make it right, your brain is there to think and not to drown in alcohol. Friends with benefits will NEVER work, feelings will start to form for one person and it gets awkward real fast. Womanists spin too many tales that don't favor them. I know I will get hate for this, but it deserves to be repeated. Not because a man tells a woman, but because it's reality. Women are most happy when they are at home with kids taking care of them and the house. Corporations are behind the womanist movement and alphabet club in order to get a quick buck, guess what... Both parties gave corporations that don't give a hoot about anyone else besides them selves a lot of money while at the same time destroy general roles because women couldn't see past their own selfishness. Think about it of who gets money out of this, more mindless slaves on the work floor will give THEM more money while you don't get ANYTHING out of it. You even loose more as you are doing something your biology doesn't want you to do.

Yeah it's really annoying when women blame men and it's like your no better your just using a random man to get off but because you didn't orgasm all of a sudden he was using you. No take accountability both were using each other

Good on you for being so honest, it takes a lot of courage putting yourself out there... I can only ask you not to beat yourself up. We can only love ourselves when we fully understand ourselves, which should be a quest in everyones life - we, each person, really are a mystery - to others and ourselves. The main thibg is that you've learnt and are still learning what you like & dislike, what you want and don't want - and that's a great thing, Gia. For myself - casual intoxicated encounters just aren't my thing. I find it cheap, fickle and meaningless... It's part of the reason I got involved in kink and started looking at alternative forms of relationships... Anyways, keep your chin up, your well on your way in your journey, you got this... And you're still THE best ASMR-tist out there... More power to you, girl...

As a 50yr old male the one thing i can say is that having slept with women who have high body counts is that they all had very high sex drives, never one seemed uncomfortable during sex, my ex wife of 16yrs was the same, her sex drive remained constant, all these women could be aggressive and very pushy and argumentative, and at times showed masculine traits whilst also being girly and flirtatious, not one i ever met seemed bothered about the amount of men they had slept with, some even bragged about it like a young guy would, they also had a predatory nature about them, also like myself they seemed to have addictive personalities which perhaps would explain a lot.

Was your divorce from your wife of 16 years related to infidelity or boredom on her part? Knowing what you know know, would you do it again?

Most women who went the 304 route regret it. But you can't take it back. And you can't be a born again Virgin.

Men and women need to be made to understand their subconscious instinctive traits / nature of dating / sex. Unfortunately, you've had to come to a somewhat realization of this through experiencing the hookup culture. I encourage to really get into studying subconscious nature of men being providers. And what testosterone does to men and the subconscious nature of women being nurturing and hypergamy / and how oxytocin affects women. Plus seek counseling to heal from the "drama trauma" hookup has caused you. PS FWB's never really work out.

Agree and looks like I am not the only one who could see the effects it has had on her and not to make things worse but at 27, if she wants partner and children, her wall is coming up quickly and she is a long way out from being ready. I watched another video of a girl who said her senior year at college, she took a feminism class and it messed her up for 10 years. She framed everything on life based on that class and didn't realize she was fighting biology. Think she got help and once she understood the biology, she finally let her feminine side out and lives in peace now with husband and children, needless to say she is against what modern feminism preaches. Equality but different is what should be taught.

Sad so many bought into feminist lie and pushed, convinced other's into doing same. Sad so many see the gentleman as invisible. Glad more girls realizing the two genders are not "exactly" the same. Why trying to compete with men, should just be getting along, pair up, let the differences be, to make each a better person, couple. Problem is all this casual baggage is being brought into later relationships and why more good men are saying no or committed to good relationships in early days. Nice to hear a woman's insight to this issue, keep telling other women because it doesn't look healthy for either gender

Well Pisces is the 12th sign in the Zodiac so has the Wisdom of all 11 signs that came before it. Hence as a Pisces you experience a wide range of life experiences because you are curious of the meaning of life to transcend and teach

@@dockcom did you know the original calendar was from the Mayans before ours was ever made. They are different from each other but the mayans also were very good at studying the planets and stars without tech. So the zodiac/horoscope "facts" aren't actually factual eventhough everyone believes it because nobody knows about other calendars before ours.

I dont disagree with you, more to that i wave kinda similar opinion, but we have no right to enforce and shame people for their choices. Someone likes hookups and feel psychologically fulfilled, someone need meaningful and connected relationships like me for example. Dont oversimplify this, everyone has different stories in life
@mjesns77
@mjesns77 9 ай бұрын
you say psychologically fulfilled, but that’s just short term satisfaction. it doesn’t aid in you getting a long term deep connection which most in hook up culture expect to be handed one day.
