Stop concerning about numbers and ranges and be concern about symptoms. So simple: If 800 ng/DL is not solving the symptoms, increases the dose until symptoms gone. If you feel perfect on 1200 ng/ dL stay on it.

Treat the patient, not the numbers. That said, you still need to number to help monitor the rest of your body's functions and to keep everything in balance. Too much can be a bad thing but you can't tell that without the numbers.

The question that none of these so called TRT experts seem to know the answer to is, "Should one stay at the lower end of the normal range or at a higher end of normal range thats conducive to longevity ?" For example if my T levels are 150 should I take an exogenous amount that brings my levels upto 400 or brings it upto 1000 ? Both 400 and 1000 are normal T levels in a healthy adult male. 400 is on the lower normal range and 1000 is at the higher normal range. Ofcourse everybody knows quality of life improves the higher you go but it can shorten your life. Thats why bodybuilders on juice dont live long. So question is for longevity, should you aim for a 400 or a 1000 ?
@counterbalancelife4305
@counterbalancelife4305 9 ай бұрын
"Bodybuilders on juice" are on 2-3x+ the highest TRT dosage stacked with multiple other anabolics, growth factors, and whatever else. BB has little to do with health as a goal. I'd hesitate drawing any life expectancy comparisons between BB's and TRT patients. One possible answer would be to have a man's complete hormone profile tested when in his young prime as a baseline for that individuals' own optimal levels. That may serve as better healthy guideline for future hormonal optimization. Certainly the "normal" reference range is not an ideal guide.

@counterbalancelife4305

@@NotBob-zw3zw I could have been mistaken. This was my interpretation: You aren't sure whether adjusting your (now abnormally low) T level to the lower part of the "normal" range or the higher part of the "normal" range would be best for longevity's sake, correct? I'm suggesting you wouldn't have a good starting guide unless you knew your total and free T levels from your prime. That would be your non TRT "normal". This seems to be very individual while the reference range is generic. You didn't mention symptom relief, however, and a low T state (which seems to also be individual) is shown to adversely effect the heart which would be a longevity factor to consider. I'm in this situation and trying to find my sweet spot. Without an earlier healthy reference test to look at I started low and and working my way up, noting symptom relief along the way. Longevity is a concern for me as well. My point about BB's is that they are not a group to look at as examples of men in high end of the T reference range. Their BB period is spent at levels far, far above it. They should be considered, at best, freak outliers with regard to TRT health implications.

Find a well regarded clinic who are up there speed with the latest information and dosing protocols. If your doing TRT for the gym... Don't do it..if you are doing it as you are low and want to get your levels back in to mid to high normal range with good bloods and good blood pressure whilst est mg well sleeping well and exercising then your good to go! Just find a knowledgeable clinic and remember.. it doesn't work for everyone. I spent 2 years dialling it in and I eventually stopped.. as I felt no real benefit for the possible risk. This guy is not even making sense. Who does this ultra low dose t ? does this guys brain even working ? you do testosterone replacement because you want your t level to be raised back upto what it was when you were younger. your dosage should be such that your t level mimic what your normal levels were. Never heard of this nonsense before. people either do high dose as in bodybuilders or low dose as in getting back to normal range. never ever heard of such a thing as to ultra low dose. whats the point ? To raise your T from 150 to 165 ? what a waste of everyones time. next time make video about something that makes sense. for example how doe t levels affect longevity WITHIN the normal range.

His message was easy to understand. MY primary dr put me on 1 shot 200mg a month & 3 days were good & the rest of the month nothing & I was watching YT & figured out that's useless. Then he changed it to 100mg every 2 weeks. Referred me to a endo but didn't have an app. for 2 months. I went to a TRT clinic & started 150 a week then 160 then now 170mg for past 4 weeks. It does, man. I thought the same thing as you once, but you will get shut down regardless of dose. If your body does not make it (and it does in pulses) and has a continuous flow in the blood, the HPTA will cut down production.
