Excellent analysis, you summed up Mayo in a nutshell. By playing that high power and sometimes one dimensional game cost them a couple of All-Irelands. 2012 was one in mind when beaten by Donegal. Keep up the good work

I’m a mayo fan and it’s arrogance, there is no mayo way and if there is it’s bottling big games. We have a very strong squad but if you look at it we are strong at defending , doing the dirty work, and running up the pitch, what we lack is prolific scorers, Ryan o’d and Tommy c are pretty good, Cillian seems to be injured and the likes of o Shea, James Carr are good on their day but always seem to go missing in big games. We need to play like Derry/roscommon, if we put 15 men behind the ball we would freeze probs every team out and we’d have the running game to have a deadly counter attack but we would rather go toe to toe with Dublin who have scorers all over the pitch and we all know how that turned out. If we could get him I’d get Davy Burke, I honestly believe he’d win us an all Ireland, managers from mayo are too influenced by the toxic politics that exist in mayo football.

putting it bluntly Mayo don't have a winning mindset and culture the fact that Aidan O'Shite is still playing in this team proves that part of a winning culture is being willing to do whatever it takes to win even if you have to pull a Darragh Ó Sé and deliberately knee someone in the back in the first 5 minutes of an all Ireland final to take out an important opposition player which btw Darragh later admitted it was on purpose what he did to Nicholas Murphy yet he never got stripped of that all ireland medal so what does that tell you ? it tells you the GAA condones " cheating " if your good at it and do it at the right moment

Mayo have lost too many top class players, almost impossible to replace them (Keegan, Higgins, Mullen, McLoughlin) - going to be a while before Mayo seriously threaten again.

​@@heavy482ikr from a monaghan man I remember the 2021 all ireland football semi final Mayo V Dublin Mayo finally beat Dublin and I'm like ah good then seconds later seeing the players screaming their heads off running all over the field and I'm like wtf are you doing there's still another game to be played I knew then and there it was over for Mayo heads were gone and once again I was correct before that final I told everyone fucking history is repeating itself the same fucking shit Mayo did in 2012 is gonna happen in 2021 after beating Dublin their heads swelling thinking its a walk over and an easy win over the ulster team in the final and then they get beaten again who the hell saw that coming lol most people said I was retarded for saying this before 2021 final but I told them do not fucking underestimate this Tyrone team I warned them espicaly after what I saw in that semi final against kerry this wasn't your normal Tyrone performance this was the 00s Tyrone resurrected from the dead this rock solid gritty team that was willing to do what it took to win and of course Mayo didnt listen to me they continued being arrogant shites and they lost again sigh
