Pod after pod, not just here but most of them, all we hear is how no one can understand what Boras and Pete could possibly have offered to be "so far" apart. It's not that hard to come to a reasonable conclusion. His market is clear. Paying him an AAV way over Olsen and Freeman is just not realistic. If we offered 3yrs at a higher AAV than Olsen and they said no, we can all safely assume they're asking for 3 years $100m +. There's no way we said no for $1m or $2m a year difference from what they're asking. They're being unreasonable with what they want and it's not even close to his market value period. Let's move on from the "confusion" comments about what could Boras possibly be asking for.

The problem isn’t with the Dodgers, per se. It’s that everyone got scared of Cohen spending money so they found a way to curb that. Then the Dodgers deferred an entire contract on what was the biggest contract ever signed, so there would be no penalty to allow them to skirt the threshold and it’s crickets from the baseball world. Two things should happen. 1. Cannot defer more than 10-15% of a contract. 2. 85% of prior years revenue should be allocated to player salary. (Luxury tax used to bring up smaller market teams revenue #)

People Alonzo is not your typical 1st basement hitter. he will hit 40 or more home runs for more years to come. why? cause he doesn't have a long swing . his swing is short and compact this is why he will hit more homers and have a longer career ..Mark my words i know my baseball.
