Great for game pass & backwards compatibility, not so great on new AAA titles. Not the end of the world, still the best next gen console for its price.

Well it's in between gens like switch. Does help if you like persona games for game pass or just want to buy dlc and skip the price of entry like I did with power wash simulator and turtles. I wouldn't bother getting if you have an xbone unless you use it for parties with a friend, which yeah smaller and way easier to set up. Xbox series x has zero value as they don't do physicals nor good exclusives while you pay ps5 money, and once VR2 is below $400, you will enjoy that ecosystem. Shame the carbon black is a scam. No reason to simply get a switch lite (OLED is as much a joke but it has colors) or successor models for that $300. Next year will have ps5 upgrades too, so even less value for series x. Series s is like the nintendo 2ds imo, features cut out but great value for anyone who is gonna make games for all consoles. There is also cloud gaming for game pass games (single player only I believe) if you have space issues. Sadly Sony and Nintendo have so many 3rd party imports and exclusives, and series x have physicals avoided (art of rally and sword and fairy not physically on xbox for collector's edition and starfield collector has no disc) so 6:20 is off outside maybe delisted like jump force, telltale or transformers devastation, but these are on ps5 anyway.
