That's very true! Unless you're vey privileged you work where you can make some money and live your life... it's such a widespread "problem" and capitalism will never stop amazing me because privileged people really do think it's just a way of living! 😒

It’s such a tough subject!!! I think everyone in life has to decide what’s important and what ethical things they want to stand for in life and compromise is just a reality of that. No one can live perfectly so it’s important we’re all honest with what we give and what we take, so that people can see that these versions of life are ok... I hope that makes sense!!!!!

It's just so hard to not focus on everything and go down a really depressing rabbit hole 🙈 kind of like when in the good place they realise that all our actions are now inherently bad because it's all a chain reaction and capitalism sucks 😂

Such a tricky situation. It’s like you’re damned of you do and damned if you don’t. There’s an indie shop (I go through Etsy) from Russia that has some beautiful looking eyeshadows. I believe they ship worldwide. It’s called Sigilinspired. They even have sets of shade put together like palettes (I think they’re loose powders). Some of them look stunning. Fast beauty is something I really been thinking a lot. There's a lot of talk about reusing and recycling packaging but no one talks about reducing. We don't all need to quit using everything and start using only shea butter but do we really need a serum for our elbows? I'm done trying to be perfect and going only for vegan and cruelty free brands, I think that there's so many other things to consider and the truth is bigger brands are the ones doing the most when it comes to sustainability and good environmental ethics. There's definitely little things we can do collectively that will have a bigger impact than a handful of people going 0 waste.
