Why do you cut the lasting board that way? Normaly you would cut toward yourself and use your thumb under the shoe to guid you. But if it works it works.

Beautiful uppers, could you just blake stitch a middle sole and stick on the outsole. The current sole is almost impossible to replace unless you have the same sole.
