People may think of carpenters and interior designers as the ones who create beautiful furniture. However, this is only part of the story. It is the sawmill workers who lay the foundation for all of these furniture products. They not only handle raw logs, but also select, cut, and process the wood with great skill and precision. Without their meticulous work, the high-quality wood materials needed for fine furniture would not be possible. Therefore, it is necessary to honor and recognize their contributions. What would happen if wood from precious trees such as walnut or cedar were not treated properly? From this, it can be seen that sawmills play an essential role in the furniture production chain, and it is thanks to them that we can enjoy durable and classy furniture."

Here in the U.S. Wooden furniture with epoxy resin as part of the piece ( whether it be a dining table or countertop) is extremely popular. I enjoy both pieces of furniture with epoxy resin and historical furniture. Particularly old writing desks with hidden draws in them. Keep wood working my friend.

I’ll bet Cam from Black Tail Studio is licking his chops looking at this magnificent wood. Here in the U.S. we think of Japan as a densely populated country with little forested areas. That would be wrong. In the mid-80s to early-90s I made about 20 trips to Japan. My first trip, to Hiroshima, was the longest, about 7 weeks. The city is crowed, with homes built almost to the streets. And regardless of your economic status, the size of your car is determined by the size of your parking space. To purchase a car you must prove you have parking space for that size vehicle. Drive 20 minutes north of the city and you’re out in the country. Fields, rolling hills, and forest for kilometers on end.
