I have been running from God for 10+ years. This week, I returned home. It was awesome and I know again that God is real and still loves me.

I saw you guys perform this at Falls Creek this year, and it was so amazing. I think everyone was way surprised that you did a serious skit instead of a funny, which made the impact all the more heavy. I love you guys, and thank you for everything you've done. And thanks be to the Lord!

What an awesome and creative way to share an important message from our Father. Having been a prodigal daughter myself, I could not wait to reach out to other prodigal brothers and sisters to share this great hope of restoration.. God bless you for using your talents to spread the Good News of the reality of God's great love for all of us. ~~

I know this story in the Bible very well and it's very close to my heart. But the Skit Guys here have turned a Biblical story into a real-life story, a story where father and son come to understand each other's perspective much more--and how I feel this story applies to me very greatly as well. I am now a college freshman, far away from the house I grew up in with my parents, the first time being on my own. But this story brings me right back home to my father, and to my Father God as well.

This is really good! I just wish sometimes people would say what the inheritance is, it's our lives. I took my own life when I shouldn't have been controlling it myself, and I wasted it. But God would always be there to fix it.

I love this story, please add to the skit by including the elder brother, read Henri Nousen's "The Return of the Prodigal" or Timothy Keller's "The Prodigal God" and complete the story, love you guys, Pastor Dan

I must confess that sometimes I feel like the prodigal son's older brother. I pray my tail off for years over basic needs and God does nothing, then I hear some testimony about a guy who has everything I could ask for who starts whining about something trivial and God gives it to him in a heartbeat. Is that supposed to be encouraging? I think I'm just too bitter for my own good.

I think if I left home and squandered money, my father would take me back, but without ceremony, and he'd definitely say, "I told you so!" and bring it up every time he was cross with me. I think he really does love me; he's just not really good at showing emotion or being understanding of my own feelings. My mother would be the opposite. She would actually go find wherever I was living, convince me to come home, dismiss the incident as a "good learning experience," hug me, and show me that she had brought me presents while I was gone, and whenever I started to feel bad about the incident, she'd tell me it wasn't my fault the world had failed me and we all make mistakes in life and I actually succeeded because I had gotten through it and as long as she's alive, I have a safety net to fall back on, so now is the time to explore different options for how I'll eventually carve my niche in the real world.

christianity isn't a cult because a cult follows one person and does everything that person says. christianity on the other hand follows the teachings of jesus... a diety or God. We follow a God not a human. and for the human sacrifice part that went out the window as soon as Jesus died. and he died on His own. he could have stopped all the people he could have walked right of the cross... but he didn't. and like it or not it was for all of us. including you.
