RIP Keith. Today a huge part of my childhood died. I was 9 in 94, and I was with my mom in a store and I saw a starnge looking album cover, I asked mom to buy for me and she did, it was Music for the Jilted Generation . Put the casette tape and pressed Play and eveything changed. That year was also the year my father left us, mom was working 12 hours shifts and I was home alone most of the time listeing to music and especially to Prodigy. I remember that while listening to Prodigy and dacing arround the house, those problems were not so bad, I was feeling that it will get better at one point. Thank you Keith for being there for me,

@VEHICLEFAN5500 Жыл бұрын
Is an energetic, hard-hitting song that talks about the pressures of life, both internal and external. The chorus encourages listeners to take a deep breath and focus on their breathing to get a reprieve from these pressures, while the verses call out the various sources of stress and anxiety that all of us face. The song can be seen as a call to resilience and inner strength, to develop the courage to face all that life throws at us.

This song rips my lungs out from the get go, and if you were around when this released you get it. I have 7 nieces and nephews(ages 4 to 25) That are fans of Gen-z music I.E. Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, Drake and other industry figures Etc.. After showing them Prodigy and their absolute addiction to creating great music, now I'm hearing that this "slaps" harder than what they get to hear on their Spotify recommended or even promoted Tik-Tok artists. Just a testament to the devotion of 90's music. When you are passionate about your craft you will overshadow the underdeveloped artists whom simply seek to reach an audience with current events or gimmicks. 90's Gimmicks include: The Macarena, Barbie Girl, Boy/Girl bands, Movies with Jocks as the bad guys, MTV controlling our news and culture,Massive attitude with the word EXTREME, The band Extreme (Hit song is a ballad ironically), Action movies of all genres happening within a holiday backdrop, the word "Psych!" Mountain Dew being the replacement for Gatorade, Credit cards issued to under 21 adults at a dizzying pace and so much more ( you know 90's peeps). This music "Slaps" according to the future generation and they could not be more correct. Slap away Prodigy..... slap away

Prodigy's music makes most electronic bands of today look like preschoolers just starting out on instruments!

Back when I was a child, my cousin had to babysit me while everyone was gone celebrating the new year. She left me alone watching MTV for a bit and when she came back after 10 minutes she dragged me out of the room saying: "That is no music for a child!" Thx to her, Keith's face is branded into my memories forever. I have to hug her next time I see her :')

I was born in 1985, in 1995 my family give me the first radio with rec-tape. Tons of tapes full of music, everyone with at least one of your songs... Miss you, Bro. My childhood lost a very important piece of itself.

My husband and I always ask "How'd that work for ya?" Give your whole life to God. All this demonic chaos leads to death. He hung himself! Jesus is knocking on the door to your soul. Let him in. "God is love." Read John in The New Testament. ❤
