About The Profit:
When Marcus Lemonis isn’t running his multi-billion dollar company, Camping World, he goes on the hunt for struggling businesses that are desperate for cash and ripe for a deal. In each one-hour episode of The Profit, Lemonis makes an offer that’s impossible to refuse; his cash for a piece of the business and a percentage of the profits. And once inside these companies, he’ll do almost anything to save the business and make himself a profit; even if it means firing the president, promoting the secretary or doing the work himself.

"Still open, but the business is not listed on Marcus's website. Sal and Nick paid themselves salary which wasn't negotiated. Marcus cut ties after none of the money invested was used to pay landlord past rent"

Maybe it started out as a money laundering thing, and now they're trying to go legit. Basically what happened is someone had a lot of money, so they used it to buy building materials and pay people to be laborers and create a structure. Now he wants to sell the structure and claim the money. it would be really interesting to hear what's on his mind lately and if he's sold yet, especially given how this virus situation is effecting real estate. Doesn't explain why he owes money to contractors though. They want to file their target shopping as a business expense to save money on taxes? And he does screen printing so he can use his certificate of occupancy for manufacturing?

Your money laundering theory doesn't make sense. You can't by a $2million building to launder money unless you already have an existing business to kinda justify where the $2million came from. But there's definitely something fishy here. He's cooking the books so he can live like a successful businessman while in reality, he's not successful.

I don't understand these huge businesses that are not profitable 🤔🤔🤔. To me, it's common sense to first make money, and then expand. $600000 in debt?
