About The Profit:
When Marcus Lemonis isn’t running his multi-billion dollar company, Camping World, he goes on the hunt for struggling businesses that are desperate for cash and ripe for a deal. In each one-hour episode of The Profit, Lemonis makes an offer that’s impossible to refuse; his cash for a piece of the business and a percentage of the profits. And once inside these companies, he’ll do almost anything to save the business and make himself a profit; even if it means firing the president, promoting the secretary or doing the work himself.

How does Marcus value these businesses??? He does NOT follow any investment or accounting parameters!!!
@mohitdhanwani6431
@mohitdhanwani6431 3 жыл бұрын
Generally there is no parameters in business valuation only a educated guess, even listed stocks don't follow any specific valuation it is just supply and demand to keep it simple

@@mohitdhanwani6431 I honestly don't know how to reply without turning this into a mud fight... I'm a CPA sitting here gobsmacked wondering if this is some sort of joke!!!! Why does the entire investment banking, accounting & finance industry in general exist if not perform tasks like valuing businesses & asset classes like equity stocks?????

@@toyotrading7054 I myself am CFA lvl2 candidate and working in Mutual Fund Industry from past 2yrs , when you work inside the industry you get to know all this isn't such a big deal as people make it out and 90% of investment strategies don't work even risk management fails in case of unexpected scenarios. Finance industry is there to make everything complicated and make money out of it just like Lawyers do, atleast that is what i think
