@Mike Russell were you even in kindergarten when Tracy Chapman released The Promise? I loved it then and since but when Catherine & Brandi sang it together a year or two ago (?) it gave a whole new beautiful dimension. Great capture! Thank you!

haha! You are too kind, but I was more like 18 when it came out! Funny story, while getting a bottle of wine at the show on Saturday, the person selling it to me asked for my ID. (First time in a LONG time!) I thanked her for giving me an early 50th birthday present! (Been meaning to update my profile pic, it is about 10 years old)

Brandi is gay yes. Not a problem with me and should never be with anyone else. It is a part of who she is. And she seems so obviously happy and in love. Make no mistake though, her talent, voice and ability are so much more than who she's attracted to. Brandi is a once in a lifetime artist whose voice is unmatched. 100's of years will go by, and people will continue to refer to her musical contributions, collaborations and gifts as pure tasteful heart touching artistry. Every time I hear her voice, I'm once again blown away with the musical treasure she is like the very first time I was. In this world of so much thinly veiled creativity and stardom for and from so little, she is uniquely gifted and transcends genre and time.

This is so true sew true and beautifully said. Brandi loves everyone and is everybody's friend. She can't help it. It pours out of her. I can hardly watch and listen to anyone else anymore because they just don't compare 2 her. (See what I did there?) The more glitz and glam and over-the-top theatrics other performers resort to just bore me.

@@LeslieJayBoschPhoto I hear so much more hate/homophobia about her sexuality than I hear what Should be brought up, her brilliance as a singer, song writer and musician. It was even worse and more disgusting for KD Lang. I brought it up to do the opposite of what so many haters do. It was not my intention to offend you. Rather, it was to praise the big mark she has already made in the world as a musician in a relatively short time.
