Peter and the team never appreciated Neal like Mozzie did. They treated him like a lap dog to trot out for their use and when he messed up, they really let him have it. Well paced show. Good script.

Same, I can't deal with the fact that they don't know Neal is still alive. It hurts me so much to see both Mozzie and Peter cry. I rarely cry, but every time I see Mozzie and Peter cry at the end, I cry so hard.

They ended it the way they did for a reason. They were going to do a movie in 2019 but then the actress that played June died. They put it on hold, then Covid hit, and now Mozzie is gone. So who knows what will happen.

Well done! I finished the sixth season yesterday and immediately went to youtube to search for some additional White Collar content and stumbled upon this video - very well made one, I even forgot what that bottle symbolized to him and this made my interpretation of the ending so much better - he is living a better life now.

This show really means to me.. I grow up watching this although I dnt understand english that time and I'm not frm english speaking country... Never knew that the character of Matt (Neal)died here... For real I didn't finish watching this bcoz those time White collar is a free tv film so when that channel down i dnt watched it anymore... White Collar along with BONES then, NCIS LA also GREYS ANATOMY yup it's a free tv on our country channel tv. So when that channel gone I didn't finished those seasons anymore. Those were my childhood American film series and I love them . This is a film were I got a crush on Matt Boomer he's way more earlier that I knew than Henry Cavill tbh i thought Henry Cavill and him is the same bcoz their features are the same both handsome to my eyes and I love this kind of beauty very manly and sexy I like their eyes and when they smile.

The ending was good, but would Neal really have caused his friends such pain? I figured he would pull one final con and leave town, but never like this. And I think he would have told Mozzie, at least after the morgue scene! Poor Moz!

Well, he did say "When the time comes, I'm cutting all ties". He might have just wanted to live a life of his own where Peter wasn't pushing him to do good and Mozzie wasn't pushing him to do bad? He wanted to be free right?

True, Lina. And actually I think Mozzie did know, later. When I first watched, I missed the part about the Queen of Hearts card that Peter found in that storage unit - Mozzie was the last one to have it, so that's how it got there. And I think Mozzie was the one who left the wine on Peter's doorstep, as a clue to let him know that Neal was alive. I think he probably went to Paris to join him too...and I like to think Neal eventually met up with Sara in London (I've always liked them together). Or maybe she was doing some business for Sterling Bosch in Paris and ran into him there...oh, the possibilites :)

He had to "die" to get the Pink Panthers" away from Peter. And he couldn't tell Mozzie because Mozzie's mourning had look real. Someone from the Pink Panthers could have been watching, he just couldn't chance anyone not believing Mozzie's grief.

DAMNBros It actually shows the gun had blanks, Neal paid off the doctors and EMTs to make his death look legit while the pufferfish poison put him in a state of suspended animation. Keller wasn't in on it, he truly thought he killed Neal.

I don't get why Neal ran, he could have stayed but instead he left mozzie and Peter, I don't get it.

He ran because he was the reason why Pink Panthers are in jail now. Keller told Neal that they won't stop until they get their revenge - that means going after Neal's closest friends, hurting them just to draw Neal out. Neal didn't want to put his friends in danger so he faked his death, meaning Pink Panthers wouldn't seek for revenge no more. It was the only way to keep them safe.

Spoilers: I know I'm super late on this but neal doesn't actually leave mozzie, mozzie is part of neals last "greatest con" he helped plan it and sell it. Mozzie stayed for a while to convince everyone neal was really gone but then after enough time had passed he left Peter a clue to let him know neal was ok and flew off to go meet him. The ending is sad but for mozzie and Peter neal actually gave them happy endings. Mozzie got his dream of him and neal going and living a free life and Peter got closure.
