هذا حديث مشهور، رواه البخاري ومسلم في الصحيحين: أن النبي -عليه الصلاة والسلام- جمع بين المغرب، والعشاء، صلى ثمان جميعًا، وسبعًا جميعًا، المغرب، والعشاء، والظهر، والعصر، وفي رواية مسلم زيادة: من غير خوف، ولا مطر، وفي رواية أخرى: ولا سفر. قال العلماء: إنه جمع لعذر غير هذه الثلاث: إما مرض، وإما دحض في الأسواق على آثار المطر، قال ابن عباس: لئلا يحرج أمته، وتحريجها إما بوجود مطر، أو آثاره من وجود الدحض في الأسواق، أو وباء عام، أضعف الناس، وشق عليه، فلهذا جمع -عليه الصلاة والسلام- أو لأنه أراد أن يبين للناس أنه يجوز الجمع، ثم استقرت الشريعة على تحريم الجمع إلا لعذر، كما جاءت الأدلة بعد ذلك، فإنه وقت للناس المواقيت، وبين لهم المواقيت أولها، وآخرها، ثم قال: الصلاة بين هذين الوقتين وقال عمر : الجمع من غير عذر من الكبائر، فالجواب عن هذا من وجوه: أحدها: أنه جمع لعذر شرعي، كالدحض في الأسواق، أو لمرض عام. الوجه الثاني: لئلا يحرج أمته بأسباب وقعت في ذلك الوقت من أجلها جمع؛ لأجل ألا يحرجهم، ولم يبين هذا التحريج ما هو، الذي سبب الجمع. والوجه الثالث: أنه جمع قبل أن تستقر الشريعة في وجوب كل صلاة في وقتها، وعدم جواز الجمع إلا من علة، ثم استقرت الشريعة على أنه لا يجوز الجمع إلا لعلة واضحة من مرض، أو نحوه، أو سفر. السؤال: ما معنى الدحض؟ الجواب: الدحض: الزلق، الطين الذي تزل فيه الأقدام.

As usual this ignoramus is excluding context in order to make his argument seem compelling. All that this hadith proves is that there are situations and circumstances outside of traveling that would permit the conjoining of prayers. One of which we know is tumultuous weather. To say that there are no extenuating circumstances present in the context of the hadith simply due to the absence of its mention, is an argument from silence. There’s a reason why the prophet (pbuh) rarely enjoined his prayers and was instead known to offer them at their appointed times.
