Bill Joshua Mojica what do you mean in the secular? Fasting can be giving up anything that you usually cling to or enjoy doing. People usually fast on food. While fasting on food your flesh become weak( aka your hungry and you learn to lean more on God and not yourself through the body yearning to eat) Also, when there’s less of you there is more of God. Fasting can help you grow stronger with God. Also helps you hear his voice better and if your repenting about something and many more great things through God and help your prayer life and help see some breakthroughs in your life Some demons only come out by fasting Mathew 17:21 King James 21 “However this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” Also just in case if you didn’t know fasting isn’t something you boast or make announcements about with others Mathew 6:18 “ That your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”

This teaching has come in a just-right timing since I know the LORD is leading me to go much deeper, but I m still struggling about it, cause no one has taught me anything about such 'supernatural' gifts in the Bible. It's God giving you this gift and not David. But I need to admit, that there's something called „impartation “. Don't really know what that is in a sense of a definition /explanation, but I believe that in this moment the Holy Spirit was using David to share something with us from his (God's) heart.

Thank you pastor David, I am such a sinner who never had even a minute for Jesus,but these days,outta nowhere I have this kina uneasy feelings that make me think like my life is WORTHLESS and I'm gonna burn in hell forever .I was born and brought up in a Christian family,but at some point in my childhood I lost Jesus for a particular reason which I can't say here. I have tried many uncountable times to come back to HIM but the more I tried the bigger my failure becomes. Moses was not active when God called him. He was living his own life in Midian. In my experience when I started doing what was right in God's eyes I could hear the Holy Spirit's voice clearer and clearer. God's voice is the voice of Love and Truth. Satan's voice will always be selfish and lie to you. Satan's voice= Once isn't going to hurt you take a bite. God's voice= Don't do it because it isn't going to end well for you and I love you and want what's best for you.

If I understand you correctly, you are desiring the gift of speaking in tongues. I would recommend you to ask him to fill you with his spirit even before you ask for the gift of speaking in tongues. And as he fills you (continually), you will - sooner or later - speak in tongues. Now please don't think I want to discourage you with the addition „sooner or later “, but in my case it wasn't that I spoke in tongues instantly. I did it a few hours later as I said to God that I was running out of words but I wanted to pray more/longer.

Whenever I slow my mind, and just wait in the silence. I don't get random thoughts. I don't perceive anything, even when I am waiting on The Lord. I wait on God but hear nothing. It's not always like that. I hear Him sometimes and I know it's him, but that hardly ever happens. Why is this? If I were a yogi I would be proud because that silence is a huge goal. But I want God to instruct me on how to make him happy. Any suggestions.

Scripture twisting! God has spoken! The written revelation is the voice of God. Divinely breathed out through chosen ( men ). We are not to add or subtract from it! There are no more prophets! My sheep hear my voice? Yes they hear the word of God as it is read aloud and they believe it, they obey it, the proclaim it! Nothing this man is saying is found in scripture. He is destroying this text. Father silence the deception of this man open his eyes to the truth. Look at what scripture says about His word about prayer. About asking seeking receiving. We are not to clear our minds and become still and quiet and listen from within for a still small voice. No where in scripture will you find this deception. Scripture will not and does not support the teaching of this man.
