‏اللهم فاطر السماوات والأرض عالم الغيب والشهادة، أشهد أن لا إله إلا أنت رب كل شيء ومليكه، أعوذ بك من شر نفسي ومن شر الشيطان وشركه وأن أقترف على نفسي سوءا أو أجره إلى مسلم
Allahumma fatiras-samawati wal-ardi, 'alimal-ghaibi wash-shahadati, Ash- hadu an la ilaha illa Anta Rabba kulli shai'in wa malikahu, a'udhu bika min sharri nafsi, wa sharrish- Shaitani wa shirkihi wa-an ak'tarifa 'ala nafsi soo-an aw ajurrahu ilaa muslim.
O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of the hidden and the exposed! I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but You. Lord of everything and every one. I seek Your Protection from the evil of my own self from the evil of Satan and from the evil of Shirk to which he calls. And from committing wrong against my soul or bringing such upon another Muslim.

Can evil also come from people? And this not because they’ve been inspired by Sheitan but because of a motive coming from themselves..? And if so, why isn’t it mentioned in our Prophet’s (saw) duaa? Thank you for your videos, they’re always so informative

Sheikh, why are we asking for harm not to be only on Muslims - but not for all humanity? In no means I'm questioning Islam - I'm just curious, I just want to be intellectually certain.

This dua s taught at the time of Prophet Mohammed S. A.W. When every one was Muslim. Also Allah says in the Quran. O mankind your Lord is ONE and your father Adam is one. So worship Allah alone. And Muslims to each other are brothers.
