The Pros and Cons Of Living In Thompsons Station, Tennessee

Thompson's Station, TN is located in Williamson County just south of Franklin, TN and just north of Spring Hill, TN. It is a small town that has seen quite a bit of growth over the last 10 years. There are many reason for this. I personally have lived in Thompsons Station since 2013 and love almost everything about it. However it does have its downfalls as well. In this video I will go over the pro's and con's of living in Thompson's Station, TN.

How is traffic in the morning from Thompson Station going into Cool Springs area for work and back in the afternoon? How long does it take? Asking for a friend.

Daniel I drive up to Cool Springs every morning around 7am and it’s usually a very easy drive and only takes about 17 minutes. Occasionally there will be an accident that slows things down or traffic will be a little thicker but it usually doesn’t turn into stop and go until Brentwood.

Thanks for the helpful video Matt. Question ... What are the four proposed neighborhoods you apoke of called and have they since been approved? Being a teacher from Southern California with a young family and looking to relocate, one would think this type of growth would actually mean teaching job a to come? Thanks

Corey the neighborhoods are Whistle Stop, Avenue Downs, Littlebury, and Roderick Place. The first 3 have homes and /or lots available to choose from now. Prices will be around $1 million and up. Not sure when Roderick Place will be done. If that’s outside your budget Canterbury still has lots and those are starting around $700k.

@@coreyallen1090 Canterbury in TS is amazing. Not really much for that price range in Franklin though. Heck even Spring Hill is in the $600’s and up now.

Yea they are but I am hearing that none of the kids are wearing them. There was some lawsuit so the schools had to say they were requiring them.

Hi Matt, for someone looking for an area like Thompson Station (country/peaceful) but without the new developments, can you recommend any other small town? Up to 1 hour from Nashville is fine.

Charlotte Tennessee, Ashland city , white bluff , burns. If you stay on outskirts of Thompson station and Spring Hill it’s nice.
