why would you rather go with solderable? i thought the only benefit of solderable was the option of a plateless config....is that the reason why you prefer it?

In addition to plateless and no-foam builds, some people feel that soldered PCBs are more reliable/consistent. All about preference!

All preference, but plateless is a top choice of why I'd pick it and just the process of building it! There are some other minor reasons, but either way both types of PCBs are fine.

@@noshut on valentine’s day I bought some l&f switches from them, in stock, a month later they still hadn’t shipped and so emailed them, no response lmao, then i contacted them on dc, said they were sorry and would ship next week, they did not in fact ship next week, so at that point i just called the bank and got a refund. Ridiculous lol

I can assure you, I do not let this kind of stuff affect my opinion. In fact, on the Redemption live stream I had and wrote about, I heavily nit picked and found errors on the board. Even in the written review for this particular board and on the live stream, I voiced concerns for the amount of options and how that may affect the run of the board as well as address some minor nit picks I had. I always disclose these kind of things as well, and I am very transparent about everything I do. You seem dead set on this opinion and that's fine, but it just sounds like a blanket statement with the reasoning of "trust me bro". Why would I want to risk reputation and the relationship I've built with people who trust me just for a keyboard?

@@alexotos you can nit pick and say whatever you want about the board. Your opinion is always going to be influenced by paying 0 dollars for the board or the company directly paying you. I’m going to take anything you or any content creator says with a grain of sand because you are not directly paying for this out of your own pocket. That’s just me. I’d rather you pay for this board on your own. Wait for the group buy to end and units shipped like a normal buyer would and use the board daily like we would. If you do not do those things. Your opinion is influenced.

1. There are not a lot cheap products from reputable brands. NEO is close with some of their configurations though. 2. From what I know, there are a lot of reviewers reviewing keyboards that are less than $100. Not sure if you're talking about keyboard kits or pre-builts because there's a big distinction between the two. 3. There's just not enough time to build and review everything and it feels like Alex focuses more on quality rather than quantity. 4. No I am not his lawyer

As much as I know people want to see some of the sub 100 dollar boards, I am just personally not as invested into those products and I feel like would not be the best person to look at those.
