Pale Blue Dot is now 10 years old! God this one is still a masterpiece in 2024! The Prototypes killed it with this one! This was ahead of its time!

Right, to all the people moaning about the speech not fitting the song, if you actually knew the Carl Sagan speech, you'd know that he referred to earth as "THE PALE BLUE DOT" in this speech. He convinced NASA to point Voyager 1's camera back at earth for one last photo as voyager passed in to the outer solar system. Prototypes can do whatever the fuck they want anyway....
@tjwukitsch65059 жыл бұрын
stevealexco2 We are saying that part of the speech doesn't fit the song. A different part maybe but it is too chaotic for the very beginning. And many of us got here because Pale Blue Dot was the title. How many books by Sagan have you read? The amount of assumptions you make about others without any evidence or context make me question whether you have read any at all.
@stevealexco29 жыл бұрын
Do you listen to The Prototypes? or Drum and Bass in general? Probably not, so be quiet now
@tjwukitsch65059 жыл бұрын
stevealexco2 I do listen to dnb thanks. Really liked it before dubstep came round. In fact i like the rest of the track except the use of Sagans voice. Your argument is grasping at straws. Tsk tsk tsk you continue to make assumptions. You know what they say about assumptions now.
@stevealexco29 жыл бұрын
listen you jumped up little pleb, its one of their most popular tracks, 99% of people think it fits so why don't you go and cry over another youtube video ;) l8er t8er
@FrictionBassIgnition9 жыл бұрын
Thomas Wukitsch Has everyone forgotten how much space pops up as a theme in drum and bass? I swear its the first thing I think of when listening to a lot of DnB. Also I think the title (while referring to Sagan's' excerpt) describes the characteristics of the lead synth really well. Short, snappy and rather uplifting. Whether that was intended I think the double entendre is pretty smart and for me thats what makes this song memorable. Hence, Take the Sagan excerpt away and the track falls apart... in my opinion.
_August 2020_ _Can't believe this marvellous track is six and a half years old._ *_Still listening almost nonstop to it_* ❤
