Julie is voiced by the original VA, Lydia Look (Look voiced all 3 of them in the original series) Debbie is voiced by Haley Tju (Stella from “The Loud House” and Marcy from “Amphibia”) Billy is voiced by Miyachi - Just like BeBe & Cece, I like that I can actually tell them apart now.

For people who need context for the model minority myth line. In the OG show the chang triplets were portrayed as stereotypical east asian Americans. You know that all Asians are very good at school and other academic activities so they must be smart by default. This was created in the mid-later 20th century to make the US look good due to the war in Vietnam. And in the OG show the triplets were heavily stereotyped to the point where they looked like old Hollywood Yellow face like Mickey Rooney in Breakfast at Tiffany's, very yellow-based skin, they all looked the same, and notable buck teeth. So with the reboot they got a major glow up and all have more distinct personalities and styles in these 20 seconds than they ever did in the OG. Billy is casual and chill and just says, debate team isn't my thing. Julie is a prep but she's also athletic and plays soccer now. While Debbie is an indie musician and developed enough skill to the point where she can book DJ gigs. Not to mention they look like actual East Asian Americans this time. Julie and Debbie literally look like people I know. So the writers are using this scene to say, "We're sorry for how we portrayed Asian people in the OG."
