This synopsis has persuaded me to read the book, thank you. Im currently being bullied by what i believe to be a narcissist. Its possible this person, could be a psychopath, but Im unsure of that. This persons blames me for things i havent done, to the point where im now losing practically all of my friends, because they believe him. No matter how rude he is, even discussing things of a sexually explicit nature, he can do no wrong in other peoples eyes. He is constantly chipping away at me, lowering my self esteem, and now other people think of me as the bad guy. If I was to hazard a guess, as to what he is trying to acheive, I think that he wants to destroy me? Again, I cant be certain, but that is what I feel very strongly. I have recently deleted and blocked him from social media. Since doing that, Ive noticed that other people including himself, are now not speaking to me. So goodness knows what, he is saying to them? Interestingly, a person who is a trustee of the community centre, where this is hapoening, told me, that he has received numerous complaints regarding this man, and some people are now refusing to go there. I feel vindicated, because I was made to feel like the crazy, and paranoid person.

Very interesting. I read The Psychopath Whisperer last year and it was such an enlightening read. The author talks about the scale quite a bit, as well as how a psychopath's brain is significantly different than ours, and he also goes back to two famous historical figures and really studies them to see which one is truly the psychopath. I might pick this one up eventually, just because after reading that book I want to read a lot more about the subject!

I read this book at the beginning of the year, I believe, and I really enjoyed it. His writing style is so easy, engaging, and fun. I want to read more books by him.

Me too! I just have a strong dislike for hardcovers so I was waiting it out. I also really appreciate his writing after trying to read Moonwalking with Einstein which is by Jonathan Safran Foer's brother (the guy who did Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, in case for some reason you don't know). He is also a journalist and it is a similar style, but no where near as well done. I had to DNF the book because I was bored out of my mind and just couldn't keep going. Sorry about the tangent, but things pop in my head, lol...and then I type them.
