The Punisher is actually pretty dark for a Nintendo game if you think about it cause you can kill innocent people in this game. The game actually kind of reminds me of Operation Wolf and Lethal Enforcers.

Thank you for putting this video together :). The NES version remains my favorite. Also, nice Batman/Punisher reference at the beginning with the NES Batman cartridge being in the console prior to inserting The Punisher cartridge. There are two Batman/Punisher comic book crossovers anyway.

Even though when I grew up, watching your videos, and seeing the old ones now, I see the flaws in them. I still stick with ya because even though you do still make mistakes on certain things, you are definitely improving with these videos. And that’s what I usually long for, the evolution of improvement. And I gotta say I like the direction you’re taking. Especially when you’re being the most yourself, and talking about things backstories, their origins, and the behind the scenes to why sometimes things turned out the way they did. Which is kinda why I enjoy your Irate the 80s series so much. In those videos you’re more yourself than ever, and for the most part it feels the most genuine. I think that’s you’re biggest strength.
@pastmistakes5244 жыл бұрын
All though I’m still not sure how “nostalgic overload” and “nostalgic mediocre” is used in terms of rating. Though I think it’s more of how nostalgic you personally feel, and not an actual rating system for how they were overall in general. Which I guess makes sense. I was a bit confused when you gave the original Tmnt graphic novel a nostalgic mediocre at first, because at first I thought that meant you gave it a low rating. I think I thought that since most of the reactions from cameos whenever you gave them nostalgic mediocre acted as if you gave them a low rating. But listening to it again, it does sound more like you’re rating is just about how much nostalgia you feel personally when you see them, and that’s definitely fine. Though I do find it a bit odd how cameos would feel offended by something ya can’t really change or have control over. But eh that’s a minor nitpick. Keep on improving man.

Punisher, the first Marvel motion picture? You really don't do your research, do you? 3 Captain Amerca films, Dr. Strange, Howard the Duck, and 4 Incredible Hulk movies. The 2 Conan movies were when Marvel owned rights to the character, as well, and even had Roy Thomas onboard as a consultant.

OMG, I freaking love The Punisher. I remember seeing the lame, but entertaining Dolph Lundgren movie as a kid, but what ultimately made me a fan was 2004 movie with Thomas Jane. So far the only video games I've played of this iconic vigilante was the 2005 game on my PS2, that game was the shit for me, also made better imo with the return of Thomas Jane as the voice of The Punisher. I've only played a little of the LJN game on an emulator on my old computer, and while it was horrible like other LJN titles, it definitely wasn't anything to really write home about. I'd love to check out the arcade game, or at the very least the Sega Genesis port. That game really looks dope. Great episode man, too boad you didn't shoot the saxophone dude, that would've been a hoot.
