In the first part of this video I show in a reconstruction how the 'purchase' of Uniek went. This really happened just before the GoFundMe. You, as viewers, convinced me to buy Uniek with your help. I went to Rein and asked what she should cost ...
The value of Queen👑Uniek is between € 25,000 and € 30,000.
Because Queen👑Uniek is a pregnant, crown, sport, mare with a beautiful pedigree, it is an expensive horse. A reason I could never buy her myself.
Rein cannot keep all horses. It's a hobby breeding/tradingstable (I don't know the right word) To breed the most beautiful Friesian Horses. (Watch other videos to learn more about our stable)
Queen👑Uniek would be the next to be sold. I told Rein what the idea was. You subscribers submitted that.. To start a GoFundMe to buy Queen👑Uniek.
If we get all the money, I can buy Queen👑Uniek and she can stay with me forever.
And then all her KZbin fans can continue to enjoy Queen👑Uniek in the videos!
After that it's time for a party! (full version of the party in a next video!)

I have watched many videos since discovering her last month, but I don't understand the circumstances of buying Queen Uniek. I thought she owned all the horses and the farm. Elsewhere on this thread, I answered an absolutely caustic comment aimed toward the fans who helped Yvonne purchase this mare. If you guys will humor an old, slightly bent up 68 year old horsewoman, I'd like to stick my 2 cents in ;-) First of all, when I give someone a GIFT to show my appreciation, the last thing I expect, is for anyone, especially a total stranger, to decide that I shouldn't have done so. It's NO ONE'S BUSINESS who you decide to give a GIFT to. The anonymity of being behind a keyboard has brought out not only the BEST in humanity, but also the WORST among us. Most of the derogatory comments are coming from people who are living sorry, lonely lives and they cannot fathom anyone being so generous as to actually give someone a horse. To these people (who have probably never received anything of substance), it seems horribly unfair so they act out much like the spoiled child who didn't get the biggest lollipop. It's actually quite sad. This channel that Yvonne and her crew have built and continue to work so hard on, gives immense pleasure to over a million people (many who watch are not subscribers, so yes... over a million). A lot of the folks who come here are suffering from illnesses that prevent them from living active lives. Many are elderly, or otherwise shut in, and their few minutes spent here every day make them feel happy and ALIVE. For these gentle people, giving $2 or $5 to help Yvonne keep a horse that they have become fond of, is not only money well spent, but it has made them feel like they are a part of something good, and...they are :-) The bottom line, is that no one has the right to tell you who you should or should not, give a gift to. No one. They don't get to do that. I'm going to stop responding to the people who criticize buying Uniek, but I will still feel sorry for them, and I hope that someday they can find peace in their dreary, hateful, judgmental lives. In the meantime, if we (the fans) want to completely fill Yvonne's stable with horses, guess what??? If it makes us happy, that is exactly what we will do.💕🐎🐎🐎

Watching beautiful horses, just being horses is what I live for. Sometimes, in this tough life, something wonderful happens, you're not much of a person if you can't share in the joy of making someone happy! Watching this for the first time, I wasn't aware of how Yvonne and Uniek came to be. What a wonderful heartwarming beginning, that came from the goodness of people and it must bring great comfort to Yvonne that they had this precious time together. Oftentimes life, its ups and down just seem to happen. All we can do is hang on while trying to be the best versions of ourselves as we try to stand strong in the face of adversity, like a willow bending with the strong winds, while trying to remember at the most difficult of times to live, love and laugh. Long live Uniek in our memories, in her offspring, in Risey. To Yvonne its been such a blessing to share this with you. And how you fought hard to regain your life after your injury (still are). I'm new like you. But I searched and found a video about the terrible accident on their property. I am concerned that Uniek was expected to be her horse of choice and evil people created a hole or obstruction to deliberately cause the accident, and it helps GoFundMe to make THEIR money, too, so it will be covered up easily by this organized crime. Lynn Walter Same for me, as soon as I realized it worked & seeing the look of pure joy & awe on Yvonne’s face, that was it I absolutely lost it. My eyes were all red & puffy lol. I was only able to give a small amount as well but I feel so proud/privileged to have contributed & to be able to be part of this amazing family. Yvonne, I am so happy for you. For some reason, ever since the pa*demic started, I have been longing for a horse of my own again, like when I was a teenager. It's as if the spirit of the horse is so incredibly solid and deeply deeply free, it calls out to us humans who are so easily swayed by external circumstances...the horse spirit is in communion with our best selves--beautiful, powerful, confident, strong, sovereign, bright-eyed and head up! A reminder of how we should live our lives! I kept saying to my partner, "Can I get a pony? I need a pony!" And then I told him, "Guess what?! This lady in the Netherlands wanted a Friesian and then she GOT her!!" Wow! So happy for you.

@@longwhitemane yvonne is an employee there. rein owns the barn and all the horses...yvonne has been with uniek since uniek was born....14 years.. I believe...yvonne has achieved very high levels of dressage with uniek...I believe yvonne is one of the top dressage riders in the Netherlands if not further beyond....uniek and yvonne have been in many of the 600 videos yvonne has posted if you ever get a chance to go back and watch them...YVONNE AND UNIEK HAVE A ONCE IN A LIFETIME BOND AND IT WAS A MUST THEY STAY TOGETHER....uniek could have been sold anywhere in the reasonable world

After Yvonne’s horrible accident, I started binge watching all of her KZbin videos to support her blog. I had seen the part 2 “Party 🥳” video earlier, but only saw part 1 just now. I loved how Yvonne and Rein were playfully bantering over the price of Uniek. It was really amazing that she was able to raise the money on GFM in just a week!
