Ive been jamming claypool's stuff for 20+ years. He is in my top 3. You are right there next to him nick, love it. Great shit, the fact i didnt realize you were job's bassist made me feel stupid and surprised too. Your work with cephalic is some of my favorites. Hands down great attitude, amazing talent looking forward to more even though this is a 3 yr video. Ive watched ur recent stuff. Pretty sick you guys did a cattle decap cameo lol thought that was you. Use to practice with them, played a show with those guys down here in san diego back in the karma bloody karma days. They are amazing aswell.

I noticed the JFAC doesn't have a permanent new drummer announced and I was hoping to find out if maybe I could toss my hat in the ring? I can record easily some demo videos that are closer to your style. I have a many songs written and recorded now for example but nothing really thats pushing any of the speed or intensity I can bring. This is such a hilarious video, but as a side note, to this day I have no idea what Purdie is trying to 'splain to us - when he says 12/4 it's not 12/4, when he says dotted he doesn't play dotted... I think he was an amazing intuitive musician but not sure he had a lot of music theory background.
