Without the 10 new cards limitation, this can be a tier 1 deck

honestly I don't think the 10 new card restriction is the issue here, this just isn't a super refined deck. Trump points to the exact weakness of it when he says "ahhh, I drew all my divine shield synergy with none of my divine shields and then I got all the guys without the guy synergy! What a pain!" Silver Hand dudes aren't bad, but I'm pretty sure this deck is just stronger if you focus fully on the Purator menagerie with divine shield synergies instead of hodge-podging all of the Paladin themes together.

Inside Trump are two wolves. One desires theoretical infinite value, the other is good at getting value out of tempo. The second one wins more games, but the first one is probably more fun to watch. The first one also plays a lot of warlock.

Actually ... at 12:01 the Liadrin WOULD buff the two Silver Hand Recruits from the Buffet Biggun ... her effect goes off before the battlecry effect ... or that is how it has worked for me until now. It is not useful because they only get rush, as they already have Divine Shield, and there were no minions on board ... but still.

Where's Lothraxxion? That card should be pretty good in a deck with many silver hand guys, and that cares for divine shield too! ...Deemed as too slow, maybe?

Probably too slow considering the only card above 4 mana other than Lightray (which is manacheat) is The Countess.

By the time you can play him you are already out of cards. Its not fit for agressive deck like this.

​@@mostdakka3295 odd paladin played lothraxion and that deck is far more aggressive than this one, and it was in a faster format. He's a one card wincon against control and goes really nicely here stacked to the top of your deck. Boogie down and a few other cards could be cut for something like lothraxion

I didn't play back in the day but did midrange paladin run antique healbot? Was aggro that dominant that you needed it?

It was run in almost every deck, and healing was much more premium since life steal didn't exist.

Not just aggro, a lot of mid-range decks would run a few burn cards or charge cards as surprise finishers (King Krush, Inner Rage Garrosh, etc.), usually if your deck could beat them on board and stay above a certain HP threshold there was no way for these decks to win. Hunter was a big part of the reasoning though.

​@@animagamer2 Exactly this. Even control decks usually had something that could burst you down from 15 or so. Handlock usually ran power overwhelming and some would run the Leeroy combo and Control Warrior usually had Grommash+Deaths bite or any of Warriors normal whirlwind effects.

Issue is that if you put a neutral card you lose so much pure paladin synergy like countess and class action lawyer
