Oh wow!!! I know her! She is an AMAZING woman! She runs and owns a shelter for battered women. She lets those women live there for as much time as they need even with their kids (this is a rarity as shelters usually give u a time limit on ur stay). She provides food, shelter, group therapy, and community to these women who have survived domestic violence. She really is inspiring. And she does always wear purple! I hope I am as amazing and fabulous as her someday. This is someone who deserves to be celebrated. I love u Sandra!

I literally started crying. In elementary school I used to hug trees and it felt super calming and magical, but the others made fun of me so I stopped. 1,5 ish years ago I started to get back in touch with nature and my hippie side and to be who I am (I am 27 soon). And this lady is the ultimate form of that magical state where you are happy and in touch with nature and you are at peace with yourself. And this is so inspiring for me. She is wonderful. I am crying.

Y'all are talking about us individually, not just the time period. But, we are society's future generation. We will innovate and be insightful, and many of us will grow up bright with a great future.
