Hired as singers/vocals through MTV audition in 2003: Nicole Scherzinger (lead vocals/background vocals) 2003/2009 and reunion 2019/present Melody Thornton (vocals/background vocals) 2003/2009 and reject reunion Kaya Jones (vocals/background vocals) 2003/2004 she leave group before PCD debut album from 2005 is finished and is credited as vocalist in songs Sway, We Went As Far As We Felt Like Going, Don't Cha, Tainted Love/Where Did Our Love Go and she was in music video for Sway in 2004. Members of Pussycat Dolls dance group from 1994/2003 who where chosen by Ron Fair to be part of the recording group: Carmit Bachar (vocals/background vocals and dancer) 2003/2007 and reunion 2019/present Ashley Roberts (vocals/background vocals and dancer) 2003/2009 and reunion 2019/present Jessica Sutta (vocals/background vocals and dancer) 2003/2009 and reunion 2019/present Kimberly Waytt (vocals/background vocals and dancer) 2003/2009 and reunion 2019/present Cyia Batten (dancer) 2003/2005 she was in music video for song Sway and left the group in 2005 Kasey Campbell (dancer) 2003/2005 she was in music video for song Sway left the group in 2005 Robin Antin (dancer, creator and owner of the group) 2003/present Claude Racine (dancer) 2003/2005 she was in the music video for song Don't Cha and record label in 2005 after Don't Cha music video remove her from the group in 2005. Final members of the group and positions: Nicole Scherzinger become leader of the group, lead and main dancer, lead and main vocalist and face of the group, Melody Thornton become second vocalist and dancer, Carmit Bachar become third vocalist and dancer, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly Waytt become supportive vocalists and dancers. Main producer Ron Fair from Interscope Records owned by Universal Music Group where girl group is from 2003 to 2009 The Pussycat Dolls confirmed that Nicole Scherzinger (hired as lead singer/vocal through MTV audition) sings most of the vocals and he said that Melody Thornton (hired as singer/vocal through MTV audition) sings here and there in the songs but mostly sings ad libs and that other members from dance girl group Pussycat Dolls sings occasionally Carmit Bachar (singer/vocal and dancer), Ashley Roberts (singer/vocal and dancer), Jessica Sutta (singer/vocal and dancer) and Kimberly Waytt (singer/vocal and dancer) on the first PCD 2005 album, Nicole Scherzinger said that she write lyrics for the songs on PCD 2005 album and she is credited as song writer on the album, she also on her own with producers mixed and mastered, composed and finished 95% of PCD 2005 album and she is even for that credited and all members are credited as vocalist and Kaya Jones who leave group in 2004 also have vocals on some songs and they work on that album from 2003 to 2005 with main producer Ron Fair and he was in charge what songs will end up on that first album even do girls record alot songs on Interscope Records sessions and alot of them never are released but some songs ended up leaked on the internet and in song Supernatural even have solo lead parts off some members singing. In 2007 member Carmit Bachar leave the group because Nicole Scherzinger, Ron Fair and Robin Antin creator and owner of the group don't allowed other girls to have more vocals on the songs, have more screen time in music videos and shine more as members of the group. In 2008 they released Doll Domination album and Nicole give members more chance and opportunity to sing more on the songs that in 2005 on PCD album and in the song Painted Windows members Melody and Jessica have more lead vocals than Nicole. In 2019 group reunited with new record label and comeback on stage with song React but sadly only Ashley have one lead vocal word on the song and girls just sing background vocals even do Carmit originally have solo parts on their first PCD album and Melody rejected reunion because she signed contract as singer just like Nicole but sadly label cared for Nicole solo career only and group was just used to bust her in stardom. In 2021 member Jessica and Robin Antin give interview that girls will sing not just little bit of vocals with Nicole or just little solo parts or background vocals like usually but every member will have their long lead solo parts just like Nicole have all this years on new album that is not still published because of covid and they postponed their world tour but will have all of that soon this year.
