I miss YTV of the 90s. They always had these cool short circuit clips between shows like Reboot,Are you Afraid of the Dark, Doug, Goosebumps etc. Those were some happy times.

OH MY GOD I FINALLY FOUND THIS. This was my favourite Short Circuitz video, and I was obsessed with it everytime it came on before ReBoot. It's been stuck in my head for a decade or so now. Ughhh I feel so nostalgic right now. I miss the good ol' days.

Talk about bringing back memories, and giving a warm, fuzzy, nostalgic feeling. I can also see by some of the comments below I wasn't the only one to have this song stuck in my head for the last fifteen years without actually being able to hear it. I certainly thank you for uploading this. I'm also suprised to see that so many of these shorts still look good even by today's standards. This was truly the golden age of computer animation.

I LOVE THIS STUFF! maybe the reason why these videos are so nostalgic compared to watching actual shows from YTV is because it was on during the breaks etc, so we got a chance to see it more. Brings back so many memories! thank you for posting! :):):)

This is a precious part of my childhood and it makes me want to cry because these were days when I was truly happy. Just looking and listening to it breaks my heart, but it is truly a sweet pain. I'm am so thankful to whomever put these old YTV Short Circutz on here. Oh, and one more thing...What the hell does the leopard woman say to the zebra man? You know, "We are (something) butterfly", ? Lovely, I remember watching Beyond The Minds Eye back in Jr High on those huge laser disks and thinking this is amazing and over a decade later it's still amazing. Its rare to have such a great combination of music and CGI and every second of it great.

Amazed that there are so many others who loved this clip as much as I did. I was facinated so much by her words back when this first came out on YTV...that I wrote a song called "Of the Butterfly". This one was my favourite by far. I remember I used to tape these shorts and I had an old tape filled with things like this, Fox's Peter Pan and Captain Simian, but the tape was so old it couldn't play anymore so I had to throw it out. Thanks for uploading it.

these short circutz vids were on the air when i was in my cartoon watching prime so to speak. i was devestated when these were no longer on the air. i got pretty choked up when i watched this again after 18 years or so

I always wondered where the CGI in this clip got its inspiration - then I saw the ending montage from "PHASE IV" and it all came together ~ nice work and a great homage to 70s psychadelic sci fi!

Count yourself lucky. I only have an old VHS copy of the original Mind's Eye that is really starting to show its age. I wouldn't give it up for anything other than a full DVD collection myself. Long live boundary-pushing art like this. Despite how primitive it may be to jaded modern eyes, there is still an undeniable artistry to every frame of these old animated shorts.

OMFG I used to do the exact same thing diving into my pool... that's nuts. This was my favourite one because of the music, thanks so much for posting them all here. I bet they wouldn't even show this one today because it would encourage kids to jump off buildings or some stupid reason like that. I got very lucky, I picked up a DVD set on EBay called "The Mind's Eye Collection". It's 5 DVDs including the *original* The Mind's Eye, and the quality is very good considering many of these clips probably had to be sourced from VHS. It's apparently from Taiwan; I can't read the writing on the DVD covers but all the videos are there! I only got it after a lucky hit after looking for it for ages. The later Mind's Eye films (starting with "Beyond the Mind's Eye") had western DVD releases.
