Fair enough. I personally want heavy to get the update first, for 2 reasons. First off, if the pyro update gets made after the heavy update, that means theres no pressing deadlines for the pyro update, allowing them to spend more time on improving him. Currently hes stuck as a passive team support who solely relies on airblast for team benefit. That would be fine as a weapon option, but when hes labeled as offense, he needs some offensive ability. The other reason for heavy first is that he requires less work than pyro. Really, all heavy needs is a rework on weapons and new weapons, not a possible complete redesign of his entire stock kit like the pyro does. Hell, I would even consider making the flaregun the stock weapon instead of the shotgun, and giving him a movement increase. At the very least, make his particles actually accurate to where he attacks.

alright its honesty time. Tried out casual and even some competitive (I usually only play community servers I'll admit it) and yup, most people tend to agree that pyro is weak. That being said I still want Heavy to get the update as where I play heavy gets no love.

As a pyro main I can see the problems with him "Ahem" phlog "ahem" But apparently both classes will get updated Only the class that wins the vote gets their update first while the other classes update will come later So either way Pyro (HOPEFULLY) will get balanced and some weapons (hopefully secondary) While late heavy will get balancing AND new weapons (hopefully not reskins or lunchbox items)

btw the backscratcher also gets bonus health from a medic crossbow bolt, so it basically follows the health pack rules. However, weapons like the escape plan don't get this bonus health from crossbows and are still under the effects of the nerf when being shot by a crossbow bolt.

I'm a competitive pyro. When I'm in a casual match often times I can't get shit done as pyro. The other team will have a sentry, or a revved up heavy. Or a good sniper. Or explosive classes like demo or soldier that know what they're doing. Then you know what I do? I go to a class that can actually do shit. I go on demo, and I blow up the entire fucking team. Because despite all my hours on pyro, and it being by far my best class, I can still get 10 times as much done on so many other classes like demo, sniper or scout than the pyro class lets me do. Don't be fooled that someone new to the game who barely even knows how to move dies to a slow thing with low damage running at it. Because if you know how to play the game at all you'll counter 90% of pyros easily. Whens the last time youve ever seen a pyro go godlike? Snipers, soldiers and demos do it all the time. I promise you won't see a pyro do it without 3 meds on him.

Luis Dawnfinder Pyro doesnt go godlike often because you cannot blame their loadouts, its the skills they have. This one server that has a medic and a sticky spamming demo keeps coming to our base gets a freaking godlike because of that damn medic, he wouldnt come close to our base without the damn medic. Same goes for a heavy that keeps coming to my base with a medic. Soldiers come and shoot then when low hp they run away, thats hoe they keep their streak, meanwhile pyros cant run away that fast, and therefore loose their streaks. People say pyros cant easily kill the enemies, that is true, but once u combine both flamethrower and flares, it'll set them on a very low hp, especially if u get them trapped to the wall by airblasting them. You can get godlike on pyro if u have the skills and patience, make sure to know when to attack and when to run away, and also make sure the server is long enough to achieve that. I just got a kill spree for just airblast (im new for few months to tf2)without any medic, cus no one even bothered to be one , and if I had the patience to just kill them with an airblast I would get a godlike. It's just not easy.
