It's crazy to see how rapidly the hobby is progressing. This is an awesome entry point for so many individuals. Passed on the Mode 65 and was a little worried there wouldn't be another solid 65% option with the same aesthetic and lo and behold this beauty comes out. I welcome any and all game changers that make things affordable for the consumer. Same thing happened with the SFF cases like the NR200 and the Meshlicious which changed the game and offered premium cases for amazing prices and they are competitive against most Mid tower Cases with build quality and cooling. Going from 250-300 to 80-150 is not only better for the industry it is better for the consumer which is really the only thing that matters. Keycaps and Keyboards are just way too over priced and I really hope Boards like the QK65 force that change.

What you said about that top and lower 10% is totally true. I feel like for most people, they get whatever is relatively cheap within that 80% because it’s too much time and research to find the truly innovative products. And, in most cases, it’s something they’re unfamiliar with and immediately dismiss. But I can forward reviews like this so they have some idea of what’s out there.

I was waiting for your review since the Black Chroma was assigned to you. Glad to see the real thing in a video! 7:32 I had the same experience putting the Red Jackets in my Q1. I feel like the switch housing overall might be a bit too big (I'm talking maybe a millimeter or less), because I had problems with using both plate foam and PE foam on my build. It's still my current favorite switch though, just really good sound and feel out of the packaging.

Just got mine in the mail. It did not come with stabilizers. I reached out on their discord to ask where/who to contact for support. A mod asked me what the problem was, I stated that I didn't get stabs, they said it was a "gift" and not guaranteed, I point out that while the faq does indeed say it is a gift I took the "(as gift, will not send make up or replacements)" to mean that if you received defective ones you'd be SOL. Not you MAY receive them or may not. Then one of the mods and the chat crapped on me for about an hour for "not being able to read." Long story short. Stabs are NOT included...they MAY BE included. Great first group buy experience.

GMMK Pro, Q1 or MOD007 are definitely not budget unless we consider full aluminum, gasket mounted keebs entry level nowadays. RK84, GMMK etc is what i consider entry level. The QK65 for $150 is a steal no doubt, but equal to $350 keyboards? Not when you have Q2 for $160.
